Is the user name really thingy3648 or d1ck3648? I don't know if the link works or not. YouTube is blocked where I'm at. For some reason I remember one of the guys the is involved with the SOAPA website is name D1ck, so I was just curious.
I'll probably look at them some time at home.

If you are patterning yourselves after the likes of Jed Smock, you really need help.

thunder,
I really like Jed Smock as a person and I think his book "Who Will Rise Up?" is great. It greatly stirred me like no other book I have ever read and God used it to call me into full time campus preaching.
I appreciate how Jed Smock has been a pioneer in campus evangelism and how he was influenced by Charles Finney.
I do not agree with Jed on some things and do not approve of everything he does or has done. Actually I do not even agree with everything I have ever done.
I think we can all learn from each other and do not need to agree on everything to learn from one another.
You seem to have a handle on how to preach. I would like to learn from you!
Please post some video footage of yourself preaching to large, angry hostile crowds who are bombarding you from every direction with trick questions, false accusations, threats, false doctrine, etc.
1) Do you preach open air? If not why not?
2) If you do then do you confront sin and sinners in no vague and uncertain terms? I hope you do with a name for yourself like "Thunder".
If you do confront sin and sinners in no vague and uncertain terms then you are sure to attract a large, angry crowd around you with you denouncing their sin and letting them know they are not right with God and if they do not get right they will go to hell.
3) If you really do the above then students will surely post it on youtube or maybe even better, you have some footage you took yourself so it will not have the students biased slant on it.
Please post some footage so we can all learn from you and pattern ourselves after you and not after people like Jed Smock.
Put up or shut up!

What a joke this will be. Later, can I come to one for the laughter it will bring me?

There are two basic reasons for angry crowds a) You're preaching a message that's clearly not of God and preached in anger b) You're preaching a convicting Holy Spirit inspired message
