Ten Shekels and a Shirt by Paris Reidhead Description: In Judges 17, the prophet, Micah hires a Levite as his personal priest. The price for the Levite's services was ten shekels (of silver) and a shirt. The real point of this sermon is an indictment of individuals and organizations practising humanism behind a mask of Christianity! "This sermon should be preached on a regular basis in every church in America!" This message has been download off this site over 27,000 times and is by far the top sermon! When I first began witnessing near my college I was rejected time after time and I was so discouraged. My brother told me to listen to this sermon and I realized that my confidence was based on my so called "Evangelistic Success." This is a very important message to hear.

Yes Paris Reidhead is a great preacher. He didn't believe in original sin and he taught Finney's Moral Government Theology. Actually, Ten Shekels & A Shirt was preached at Bethany Fellowship and was really a MGT sermon.
Gordon C. Olson used to teach Moral Government Theology at Last Days Ministries and YWAM. He mentored Harry Conn. Paris Reidhead wrote the forward to Harry Conn's book "Four Trojan Horses of Humanism". And when Gordon Olson died, Paris Reidhead was going to preach at his funeral, but became sick with cancer himself. So Dean Harvey preached at Gordon's funeral.
