Jesse, I always enjoy your sermons.
Is there a way you could record it with less distortion?

J.Mo, I mowed my lawn to this sermon, followed by "Walking with God", I am convicted. It seemed like they didn't give you enough time though for "Run the race".
One thing that hit me is that I wonder how many people listen to our messages that do not agree with your preaching. Just a thought while mowing the grass.
God bless you.

I listened today, good stuff J-MO. I can especially relate to the part about losing friends after being saved. Where did you learn to prepare sermons?

I am very glad you guys listened to, and were blessed by the sermon!
In the prayer closet.
I do not prepare sermons.
I walk up to the pulpit with maybe only a scripture and a few thoughts.
I believe more in heart preperation then sermon preperation.
But that's just me.
Premeditating sermons helps some people. It's helped some of the greatest preachers. But for me, I feel more of the Spirit and much more liberty if I go to the pulpit with only a scripture and a prepared heart.

Amen. That's exactly how the Lord has me preach. Everyonce in awhile I may have a peice of paper with a few points on it to hit, but the majority of the sermon is not from notes. Do you find a large difference between church preaching and street preaching?

I find it to be entirely different.
One major difference would be this:
In open air preaching, you need to be shocking and very sharp to secure their attention.
In a Church, they are already there sitting down.
In the open air, you need to be very strategic in your method and message, to get people to stop and listen.
In a Church, while you want to work to get their undivided attention, it's not as extreme or difficult.
