George Otis Jr. has a book called " The God They Never Knew" which teaches sound Moral Government Theology. The book was dedicated to Gordon Olson, Winkie Pratney, and Harry Conn. A brother in the Lord recently recommended it to me. He said that it's a book he's read over and over again. Here is a link to purchase the book:www.amazon.com/God-They-Never-Knew/dp/0915134845Here are some comments from Amazon: A Precise Presentation of "Moral Government Theology.", November 17, 2003 By C Jean B Wilde "This book has been one of the most influential books in my life. It was the impetus that created a whole change in my theology, and inspired in me a deeper faith and love for the character of God. Otis presents, what I consider, to be a precise, moving and scholarly view of "Moral Government Theology." This book provided the basis for me to see God as consistently loving, incredible personal and yet awesomely holy." Take this book to a desert island., December 16, 2005 By William Huget "godrulz" (Edmonton, AB, Canada) "This is one of the few books I would reread over and over. It clears the clutter of some traditions we accept uncritically and returns us to a cogent, biblical theology. It is sound in theory and practical in its application. It is one of my favorite, most helpful books in my large library."

A friend of mine just sent me a copy of this book. I've been reviewing it and am very excited about reading it.
George Otis, Jr. is very good at taking some of these deep theological issues and presenting them in normal, every day language, presenting them in a very basic and simple manner for everyone to understand.
"Never has there been a book more timely and needed... God has said, 'Come, let us reason together.' This book is for the person who dares to think." Harry Conn

I just finished reading this book! It was great!
When i came to the Lord, I didn't have any "theological" influences, just people pointing me to the Bible - so a lot of MGT I already believed - I just didn't know it had a name! LOL!

The book is still available at LuLu.com as stated above and the book website was offline for awhile, but is now back up on a new server. It can be read in it's entirety online. thegodtheyneverknew.com/It was hosted on a slow server before (with shared hosting), but is now on an Amazon instance and all pages are cached--it is much faster now. The site is also responsive and will work on any mobile device. Dave Kuehne
