Praise God! I wish everyone would truly look openly at those three chapters. I'm rejoicing!

Check out the THIRD section of the thread "Winkie On Sin" in the doctrinal discussions section to see his writings on it.

Even though I have realised that Rom 7 is Paul prior to conversion, I still don't think that I have to stop believing in the doctrine of original sin. I have a book on systematic theology by a man Dr. Robert Reymond. He believes Rom 7 is Paul before conversion but he is also a calvanist, as was Dr. Martin L. Jones.
I have always found myself stuck inbetween groups of doctrine. I am calvanist, yet unlike most I believe in the experience of the anointing of the Spirit for service. I believe in the ability to live victoriously and blamelessly with a conscience that is clear of guilt before God and man. Some of these things many calvanists do not seem to believe. I am calvanist but I love the preaching on the Holy Spirit by Tozer, Duncan Campbell and W.P. Nicholson (one of my fav preachers and he was presbyterian yet not like most).
I just dunno....

I just read Romans 6-8...God really convicted me yesterday about this. I had been allowing myself to think that we could never stop sinning, and so I allowed myself to "sin small", like being easily irritated. I realized yesterday that I would be a hypocrite to tell people to repent of their sins and yet I still had not repented of EVERY sin. I am praising God because he has defeated sin and death. I do not have to be in bondage to ANY sin. Praise God!! Glory to God in the highest!

Wow! Praise God! That is the question.. When you say "repent", I wonder "from what? SOME of your sin? God forbid!" Praise God a Christian does not HAVE to be in bondage to any sin.
