I use tracts. There are many times that I cannot get to the person to preach, witness, discuss etc... one on one, so why not give them a tract? I know personally that God can and does use tracts. Even if one in 10,000 people is the only person to get drawn by God from a tract, it is worth the money and the effort. That means one soul may have eternal life in the Presence of the Holy Father. That is HIS DESIRE and should be our desire too.
Below this I posted a reply I made from another thread asking "Do people read tracts?".

My answer would be "yes, some of the time".
I would use them more, but I find few that give a really good biblical gospel.
I used to use Ray Comfort ones. But I disagree with his atonement view which is in every tract, "You broke the Law. Jesus paid the fine." etc.
Maybe I can write some tracts and have you print them for me Kerrigan? I actually came up with some tract ideas before that I wanted to have printed.

I use tracts because often Iam just out at lunch or on my way home from work. Sometimes I will give them to certain customers at work. The other day a guy had a Hallal Music hymnal on the seat of his truck. I asked him about it and he said he found it among some boxes while moving but couldn't just throw it out. He said I could have it so I traded him for a lengthy tract book. 100% assurance

I too use tracts all the time.. I use them for two different purposes, one is to leave in places for others to find. Secondly as a way to start a conversation with someone. What I use most is the tract w/ the grave yard picture on it, that I get from Kerrigan.

Is it because it assumes the price is paid for everyone? Thanks Brother... Bill

Yes. Always. Jack Chick sometimes seems to be way out here in la la land, but other tracts he puts out are amazing at reaching people. Hi There was one of my all time favorites.

Yes sometimes, I mostly leave them palces: car windows, restaurants, laundramats or I hand them to cashiers. When I have done event preaching I have handed them out.

I have found cartoon tracts like those of Chick to go over best. People love cartoons and they will look at these where they will not give other tracts any notice.
Since other posts have dealt with the tiopic of hate crimes I have heard Chick tracts are banned in Canada as hate literature.

We had a customized tract printed up when we were in CA last summer. That and some business cards with our contact information on one side, and a tract on the other.
They are very basic, and clearly not anything like Living Waters or Chick.
We may need some more soon, maybe for the Fall semester.
We actually try and give them out more now, but for a few years our tract distribution really tapered off dramatically from when we first started preaching open air.

Got Fruit? is a great tract from PPE for the Bible belt. It destroys most 'professing Christians' view of themselves. It is really good, it will be the next bulk order I do.

LOL, do you guys honestly believe that tracts are the way to get people to follow your version of God? Wow...you guys must have great delusions of grandeur. Can I have what you're smoking?

burningnow needs to be banned, i prefer the Ray Comfort WOTM million dollar bill tract, the only problem is that it doesn't focus enough on how to be saved. but i still like them. i have never liked the chic tracts though...i find that they normally just push people further away.

Ray Comfort...Mr.Banana. He claims that God made the banana just for us humans to eat. Too bad that the modern banana has been bred into the form we know it today. Follow ignorance and you too can be an ignoramus too.

When I lived in Maryland, I wish I had some tracts in spansih and Mandarin.
Here in Texas, it's best to use tracts which minister to "Christians."
I always loved the STYLE of WOTM tracts, but I would rather have a more custom message on the back.
I ALWAYS fell for the wallet tracts. I love the optical illusions one, in a nightlife area they are good to offer to people into a conversation by suggesting a free sobriety test. ;-) And one of my top favorites is the indestructable tract - I like using that in conversations AND to leave on people's cars.

Yes. WoTM tracts mostly, but some of the Chick ones too. In the UK we have £1million notes. They create a laugh among youngsters and get a conversation started.
