I was not doubting Luther said it originally just that I did not know he was the one who originally said it.
I guess it is sort of like the quote above "Repent or perish, turn or burn, comply or fry" giving the credit to Ross Jackson.
The first person I heard say that was John Duncan on a youtube video where he was preaching in Little Five Points in Atlanta back around 2004. I am not sure it was original with him either.
Probably not.
Maybe we can begin a seperate thread to figure out where popular sayings originated (haha).
