I really believe that banners/signs and t-shirts are a great way to get the message out. They deffinately are great tools to help get the job done.
This is a thread to list good banner & t-shirt ideas.
We currently use banners that say:
TURN to JESUS and LIVE
REPENT and BELIEVE on JESUS
KNOW the GOD of the BIBLE
TRUST JESUS
Also we have t-shirts that say:
FEAR GOD
OBEY CHRIST
FREEDOM in CHRIST
TURN and LIVE
And a sandwhich board that says:
HATE SIN
FEAR GOD
1 Corinthians 6:9
Titus 2:11
I was thinking of a new one:
There is HOPE in JESUS
There is HELL without JESUS
Any other ideas?

Good ingredients for a banner would be:
1. boldness
2. shocking
3. clever
4. hard hitting.
1. boldness
Something like:
Come to JESUS CHRIST because JUDGMENT is coming
2. shocking
JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY WAY to HEAVEN
3. It is clever
Something like:
ONLY JESUS can STRAIGHTEN OUT a HOMOSEXUAL
(I just came up with that one. ;D )
4. It is hard hitting.
Something like:
1 Corinthians 6:9-10

I updated the other one that I posted and added some pictures to it. Here is the updated WHAT IF? poster. I also just made one for Evolution as well. Here is the EVOLUTION poster. Let me know what you guys think...I am going to be getting them printed up for $48 + $10 shipping. I will have to rig them up for a pole myself, but that shouldn't cost too much more. They will be 5' tall x 3.5' wide. The files are on the larger side as I am trying to keep them high quality...

[glow=red,2,300]STOP SINNING[/glow] and [glow=red,2,300]TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST[/glow]
Or just one side says:
[glow=red,2,300]STOP SINNING[/glow]
and the other side could say:
[glow=red,2,300]TRUST IN JESUS CHRIST[/glow]

I still think that the old fashion:
[glow=red,2,300]TURN OR BURN
REPENT OR PERISH[/glow]
signs are good.

SANDWHICH BOARDS
Brother Patrick who has been posting a little on the boards is actually making a professional sandwhich board for the ministry to use. It's going to say:
GOD is ANGRY with the WICKED everyday Ps 7:11
And:
PEACE with GOD is only in JESUS CHRIST
But while we wait for the professional sandwhich board to be made, Jeff and I are going to make our own sandwhich board with foam board and markers to use on this tour.
The front will say:
STOP SINNING
and the back will say:
TRUST JESUS
That covers both the "repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ", it's both the "repent and believe the gospel".

Perhaps "Repent Your Sins" instead of "Stop Sinning" would get the same idea across, without opening up so much room for doctrinal debate?

The "STOP SINNING" one is my favorite.
Yes, it means the exact same thing as "Repent of your sins". But, so many unsaved people do not truly know what repent means. They think it's either 1. a feeling of sorrow or 2. asking forgiveness. But true repentance is an act of the will to turn around. So to make sure that there was no misunderstanding, to make sure the message was heard and understood loud and clear, we made a "STOP SINNING" sign.
And it certainly opens up room for a doctrinal debate. Especially down South. But up North we are going to be dealing mainly with pagans and general heathen. And I believe that sinners will at least understand that to become at true Christian you must stop rebelling against God.
Even with the Christians up here, it may cause theological debate. But it's worth it. There is no other doctrine I would sooner defend because it's one of the most unalterable conditions of eternal salvation. If this condition is not properly understood or believed, salvation cannot be properly understood or recieved. This sign helps to secure proper protection against false conversion. A sinner must stop his rebellion or else he is not converted. A false convert is one who says he's converted, but continues sinning. True conversion is when a person "stops sinning" and starts "trusting Jesus", when they actually turn from darkness to the light, and then walk as He is in the light.
I'll declare loud and clear until I die that God requires that all men everywhere STOP SINNING and START LOVING!

It appears as though you are basing this message on something that a person must do (stop sinning), as opposed to something that has been done for them (Christ crucified). I thought you believed that the works part followed a belief in/on Christ?

Repentance and faith are the two unalterable conditions that must occur BEFORE justification. God cannot justify the unrepentant nor the unbeliever. Repentance and faith are not something that occur AFTER justification, but BEFORE. And unless a person meets those two conditions, repentance (stop sinning) and faith (trusting Jesus) they CANNOT be saved.
This is why Jesus started his messages with "REPENT and BELIEVE" and did not simply conclude his messages with "REPENT and BELIEVE". These are the first truths that must be understood and applied.
The grounds of our justification is the mercy of God.
The conditions of our justification is repentance and faith.

Repentance is a change of mind where one agrees with Christ......and turns from sin. For you to say one must "stop sinning"....I don't believe that is a true statement. There is salvation and then there is sanctification. Salvation is not a process....

To turn to God implies and automaticly includes turning from sin.
A person cannot be justified until they turn to God.
A person cannot turn to God unless they turn from sin.
So unless you believe that a person can have salvation without turning to God, you must agree that a person must turn from sin BEFORE they can recieve salvation.
