Hello, Last Saturday morning at about 4am I had a dream, i saw a black and angry cloud a great distance away in the sky. It had thunderings and lightenings in the middle. then a tempest wind blew as though a storm was coming. then i saw the clouds in the sky part to make way for a majestic convoy of bright white clouds that came with boldness and urgency. The clouds were like floats and formed saints, angels and prophets on the top on the clouds. The clouds were dreadful to behold as they came. One cloud had a large figurine of a prophet with a long beard holding a staff. The leading cloud had a large head on the front (like the head of a prophet), his mouth opened and proclaimed: JUDGEMENT!!! It was a terrible and fearful sight to behold. The majesty of the procession of these clouds. My wife and I clutched hands and fell to the ground crying out "OH LORD! WE ARE SORRY WE DIDN'T PREACH MORE! WE'RE SORRY WE DIDN'T WITNESS MORE!
Be warned! For the end of all things is at hand!

If only you stopped worry about knowing a mountain of 'correct theology' and trusting in God's Word, then it comes easy as the Holy Spirit will 'ENLIGHTEN' you and teach you as you read the Word. I know men of faith who can talk to a sinner and have them in tears of conviction by the Holy Ghost in minutes. WHY? Because they are filled with the Spirit of God and as they are talking to someone, God leads them to say EXACTLY the right thing and right scripture to bring them to repentance. You can’t see their heart, but God can, so let the Holy Spirit work through you when witnessing to others and you’ll see God do miracles in men’s hearts.

I appreciate all the posts on doctrine and theology, but seriously, if salvation depended on knowing all that, then I'm going to hell. I'm going to trust Jesus. I can see why people would be turned off Christianity. My point is that God's Word saves and heals people, but endless theology turns people away. The church nowadays is in such a mess. The masses of the world are going to hell while Christians debate over points of doctrine and theology. All you need to do is trust John 16:13 and you never need to worry about NOT KNOWING all truth.

I know just how you feel. Life is fraught with failures and disappointments that bring us down. You are humble enough to admit the truth about your situation and you are not lying or deceiving yourself. You don’t care that you are backslidden because you are tired of trying and failing. I get that. If your life has been an abysmal failure, then you are closer to God than you know. God uses the weak and beggarly, not the mighty and noble. You can’t change you, that’s God’s work. The work of God is not the work of man. At least you know your backslidden. Some walk with pride and arrogance and don’t know they are backslidden.

Pelagianism Belief that denies original sin: the belief of the heretical Christian monk Pelagius that people can earn salvation through their own efforts, without relying on the grace of God, and the rejection of the concept of original sin [Late 16th century. After Pelagius]
This is HERESY big time.

Wow! That takes me back. That song came out when I was in high school. It was the first impression I had of this place (a place of mystery and danger). The song rings true and my own impression of the lyrics is as follows: “I can feel an angel sliding up to me”: This equates to “a beautiful harlot” (coming in for the kill). “Your talking to a tourist who’s even move is among the purest:” A tourist who isn’t a whoremonger. “One night in Bangkok makes the hard man humble:” Proverbs 6:26 “For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread:”
“One night in Bangkok when the tough guys tumble”: Strong men taken by whoredom; slain by harlots. “I can feel the Devil walking next to me”: Say no more.

Not every church desires revival: Some just want to entertain the people, Some are busy following the devil, And there are some who reject the Bible.
Some churches are not very zealous Thought the LORD is a God who is jealous; Some churches are not a true witness: These are the churches that God does not bless.
Some churches obey and serve man: Many of these churches follow Satan’s plan; Few will serve the Lord with all they can; For the Lord, these refuse to make a stand.
Some churches are full of shame As they refuse to go boldly and proclaim; These are only Christian by name; For to them, church is nothing but a game.
Not every church desires the LORD; They openly resist him with one accord; For so many, today, deny the word; When they hear preaching, they are not stirred.
Not every church desires revival, For there are some churches going to hell; For so many against God do rebel As they refuse to submit to the Holy Word.

You did not win, for you have deceived yourself and others. The Bible says that all liars shall have their part in the lake. If you are playing others, then you are a deceiver, and a deceiver is a liar. Be sure that your sins will find you out.
Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Disclaimer: Thailand is known as the “Missionaries Graveyard”. It is said that most missionaries pack up and leave within 5 years. It is hot and humid, polluted, endless traffic jams, breathing the air here is equivalent to being a full-time smoker. Living here will lower your life expectancy. The city is shrouded in smog and darkness so it is hard to see at night. These are the front lines. One must be prepared to endure hardness and hazard their life for the gospel.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=BkER3540eDU&feature=relatedBrother Tony and Hank Preaching. Mighty men of God here in the Kingdom of Thailand. Act 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

1Cor 5:11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
2Thess 3:14-15 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

Moreover, another good argument would be to use the case of David with Uriah and Bathsheba (2 SAM 11). God blessed their union with King Solomon, albeit, Uriah was already dead before God allowed David to wed Bathsheba. Here is the doctrine of Christ in a nutshell.
1. Don’t marry an believer 2 COR 6:14 2. If your spouse is not of the household of faith, they are sanctified by you (1 COR 7:14). 3. Paul encourages reconciliation for a spouse that departs and commands us not to divorce them (1 COR 7:11) 4. But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: (1 COR 7:15) 5. Don’t marry a person put away (a divorced person) Matthew 5:32 6. A spouse can be put away during the betrothal period if they commit fornication (Matthew 5:32. 7. Paul says that it shouldn’t matter if you have a wife as we should live for Christ as though we had none. [glow=red,2,300]But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none; (1 COR 7:29) [/glow]

If you want to use the Old Testament as your defense, you can settle the issue in Deuteronomy 24.
[glow=red,2,300]Deu 24:1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. Deu 24:2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife. [/glow]
But Christ tells us clearly why Moses wrote this precept. It is not the doctrine of Christ (mark 10:4-9). Why are you referring to the Old Testament? If I pluck some ones eye out because they did it to me, will I quote Mosaic “an eye for an eye” (Matthew 5:38). Nay, but we must look to the New Testament, to the doctrine of Christ for clarification. Here in Mark 10:4-9 we can see Christ remedy and clarify the law.
The problem arises when Matthew 5:18 is used to protect yourself from Matthew 5:32 in light of Deut 24:2. That is why it is so critical that the New Testament Church be endowed with the Spirit of Truth (John 16:13) so that we can be led into all truth. For only those that do the Will of the Father will enter in. [glow=red,2,300]Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. [/glow]

So one can not be a Pastor without being married. The person has to be "the husband of one wife" .
Also, how do you explain in 1 COR 7 where Paul says "But and if thou marry thou hast not sinned"? Are you saying that one is only free to marry if the spouse is dead? Thanks

1Cr 7:24 [glow=red,2,300]Brethren, let each one remain with God in that [state] in which he was called. [/glow]
Dear Joe, Wow! Praise the Lord! And thank you so much! This is a bombshell! There is my answer right there! This is the first real progress I have made on this topic for 3 years!!! Praise the Lord! Now we are making progress. So from this scripture it is clear to me now that I should not have remarried.
Can you please answer the next 2 questions for me:
1. Doesn’t an apostle have the power to lead about a wife? I COR 9:5 [glow=red,2,300]Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife,[/glow] as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?
2. I am soon to be a Pastor, is it not possible that God (by Grace) has allowed me to remarry so I can fill this office?
Is it possible that God has given me a special grace so I can fulfill my calling in the ministry? Re Special Grace: In Thailand, there are many woman Pastors because there are simply so few men who are willing to fill the office. A special grace? Ref: Eph 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, [glow=red,2,300]and gave gifts unto men. [/glow]
