Doctor Patrick Johnson is always heavily involved in pro-life work. Here you see Doctor Johnson holding a "repent or perish" banner, just moments before being arrested: Here he is being arrested: Not sure about all the details about this. I emailed Doctor Johnson and asked him a few questions.

It's been going on for awhile with street preachers. But now that there are more street preachers, it happens more often and we hear about it more.
Stay faithful unto death. "All to Jesus, I surrender. All to Him I freely give. Earthly treasures all forsaken."
It happened in Mississippi with at an Operation Save America outreach.

I wish there was a way to load up Dr. Patrick Johnson's transcendental argumentation/debate over homosexual marriage that John Duncan showed us.
Suffering for the Name, Praise the Lord! Keep us updated.

It was very good. He debated a college professor (a homosexual man) over homosexual marriage. He really presented a strong case against homosexuality and demolished any possible arguement that the professor might have had before he even had a chance to give it!

why don't people have the free will--the freedom--to live in 'sin', as you call it?

Free will was given to us by God so that we would willingly choose to do what is right. It was never given or intended so that man would willingly choose to do what is wrong.

...then we do not have free will. think about what you are saying, its contradictory.

If freedom is defined as the ability to choose, then God has given us freedom by giving us freewill which gives us the ability to choose.
However I'm talking about the purpose as to why he gave us the ability to choose. His purpose is giving us this ability is so that we would willingly choose to do what is right and willingly choose to shun that which is evil.

so, if what you are saying is true, then there is no need for the great commission. there is no need for missionaries, preachers...and there is definately no need for you to even exist. why would we need all of you if our freedom already points in god's direction. we would all be saved, and christ's death would be meaningless. no. instead, we are given free will to reject god and this is why you and others are persistent to save the world in the name of god--even if it means destroying everyone's lives.

So why did God give you free will?
Are you saying God's purpose or God's desire in giving you free will is so that you would do wrong rather then right?

Dusty,
You have the free will to live in sin, you also have the free will to go straight to hell at the end of your sinful road. You have the free will to rebel against God, and you have the free will to die in your filth and die again when you are cast in the lake of fire. BUT, you also have the free will to stop your filthy rebellion against the holy righteous perfect God. He is angry at you, extremely angry. But you have the free will to repent and put your faith and trust in, and obey Jesus Christ.

Every second that you refuse to submit to the Lord Jesus Christ means that you are in rebellion against Him. And what is sin if it is not rebellion against God?
And if a person deserves hell because of sin, even just one sin, then you deserve hell for every second you have lived that you did not submit unto God!
