I thought this section of the MB has had a void lately This is wonderful. It is the court account of what happened to John Bunyan when he refused to get a permit to preach. www.repentamerica.com/johnbunyan.htmlBlessings, Miles

His autobiography, "Grace Abounding to the Chief of Sinners" is one of the uniquest books I have ever read. Most biographies deal with their conversion in the first few chapters and then spend the remaining three quarters of the book focusing on their ministry, but Bunyan's autobiography is almost entirely about his conversion and the struggles he went through to obtain peace with God. I highly recommend it as a definite must read.

It's a easy book to read and one of the best I've read. I think the reason I liked his biography so much is because I could relate to many of the struggles he went through and the agonizing search for the simple faith in Jesus Christ. This book I plan on reading again, it was very enjoyable and comforting. I'd recommend it.
