I have this idea for a website and I wanted to post it here.
I was thinking of a site that would be a combination of the cop watch site and also the foundation for individual rights in academia's site.
Basically this new web page would be a data base that would contain information on past cases, police abuse, profiles involving agencies and also individual officers. You could have video and also information from depositions like who trained them. Also the legality of the practices there as well as attorney contact information.
I think if we could compile these files with this information that it would expedite our efforts.

Interesting. Sounds like a lot of work to get started. Is there any thing like this now? Have you considered your websites legal ramifications of what may be percieved as police targeting?

There is nothing like this now from a Christian prospective. There is a web site called cop watch that has its orgions in the black panther party. This is a data base that compiles information and tracts aggressive police officers. It appears as though it was started out over race issues. But now anyone can enter data on there. But what I was thinking is a little different. First, you have to look at all the areas where Christians have been arrested and had their rights violated. We should have a central data base to track this. You have to look at the issues, police abuse, institutional discrimination and bad university/borough policies. Say if someone from open air outreach wants to preach in Pennsylvania. They should be able to access the data base and they would have all the information on prior incidents right at their fingertips. Why should we have to go through something twice? I think it would also bring awareness to our issues. I'm going to bring it up to some people who definitely have the resources to create something like this. I really don't.....in fact I just started working on my first web site. Here is the cop watch site: www.copwatch.com/Also, you can create a file on anyone you want...it's not illegal.

The link to the "credible report that the NYC Police Department may in fact be largely responsible for the tragic and unnecessary deaths of firemen on 9-11." doesn't seem to work.
