I have to wonder how true that information is, but if it is in fact true it is very telling.

Yikes.
I always tried to be very cautious when reading books by reformers/theologians and make sure that what they are postulating is actually and reasonably aligned with the word of God without stretching it.
I know there have been some people who have expounded greatly on the word of God who have then turned on it and begun a strange path. However they're transgressions never change the Word of God.
I mentioned this in a seperate post: Paul wrote "Let God be true and every man a liar." Even if everyone that wrote saintly and blessed works that helped to build up the Church turned from the faith and lived a life of sin until the day they died STILL does not ever change God's Word. Amen!

Be careful with the rest of the site though. It seems very Catholic...in fact it is...there is lots of Catholic garbage on that site!

A question comes to my mind about the Reformers is how many missionaries did they send out? I believe Spurgeon's church did, but for the early Reformers is there any evidence for that important task?

If the tree is corrupt why are you eating of it's fruit?

If the tree is corrupt why are you eating of it's fruit? I often ask the same question about the Calvinists. In Christ Matt
