After several attempts at sending this via email to Jesse I chose to upload it to google video In this video we find Jesse preaching the word of God to a group of University of Central Arkansas students who are strongly vocalizing their thoughts on Christianity and Jesse's approach to preaching the word. video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6891630177964839347

Thanks for posting this. I haven't watched it yet. We are at the public library. Miles went to the van to get some head phones so we could hear it.
I hope to add it to the main site soon.

Yup, that is what I remember. Don't you just love how the ones with the most foul language are trying to tell the preacher about grace.

FOOD FOR THE SPIRIT: POWER QUOTES
“Any revelation from God’s Word that does not lead us to an encounter with God only serves to make us more religious. The Church cannot afford “form without power”, for it creates Christians without purpose.” Bill Johnson
"Apostolic preaching is not marked by its beautiful diction, or literary polish, or Cleverness of expression, but Operates "in demonstration of the Spirit and of power." Arthur Wallis
“Moving in the spiritual realm should be as much a part of a believer’s routine as prayer, worship and reading Scripture. Yet all too often, Christians practice an intellectual faith, which lacks any supernatural punch. Healing, deliverance and signs and wonders are an inheritance for all followers of Jesus Christ.” Bill Johnson
“If your Gospel isn't touching others, it hasn’t touched you.” Curry R. Blake
“That world outside there is not waiting for a new definition of Christianity, it's waiting for a new demonstration of Christianity.” Leonard Ravenhill
“We tend to measure life’s possibilities by our own limited experience. The temptation to deny the existence of things outside our own experience is nowhere more obvious then in the matter of spiritual gifts and the miracles they accomplish.” Paul Thigpen
“It is unnatural for a Christian not to have an appetite for the impossible. It has been written into our spiritual DNA to hunger for the impossibilities around us to bow at the name of Jesus” Bill Johnson
“Nowhere in the Bible are we told that the written Word of God replaces the need for miraculous confirmation of the divine message.” Jack Deere

Praise God! Holiness was preached. We need more men like this to lovingly stand up to the dictates of this world and all of it's lust's and pride. Thanks Jesse!

First, tell them Jesus loves them and can deliver them, heal them, help them, give them peace.Ask if anyone would like prayer for a healing or a problem that needs to be solved and then pray for them in Jesus Name. The Lord will back up His Word. These signs shall follow those that believe, they shall heal the sick, raise the dead, cast out devils. Go for it! All of Heaven is backing you up! Donna Bernick

It is clear that these people are cought up in ther own self rightousness and won't give into the fact that they are going to die and be judged acordingly. The bible does say that we must be born again and repent from our sins. I dont think that the so called believers in this crowd got that message, they have been given a false gospel by their church it seems? Interesting though how Jesus said : John 8:42 - 42Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me. 43Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me? 47He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God."
It breaks my heart that so many "believers" believe that they are saved and going to heaven and yet they will not turn from there sin, repent, and be born again. I agree and realise with one of the heckelers that we are in sin and cant not sin, but have a choice to sin. interesting... that's why repentance means to turn from sin. choose not to sin. lol give it up. ! well said Jesse. yet they still didn't get it.
One day every knee shall bow every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
till that day, I thank God for you.
Galen

its interesting to see how much people im amarica love their sin. how much people in the church love their sin. how thay can beleave in the son Jesus Christ and still live in sin. the the Holy Bible tells us that as christians we are to step away from our sin and be free from it. just because we can repent for our sins dosnt meen we can keep doing them just because God will forgive us of our sins. that is a miss use of gods holy mercy! i praise the lord for your ministrys work. i know that Jesse is a former intern of Teen Manias Honor Academy (wair i am curently at) and it helps me see what kind of battles i will have to face once i am graduated. praise be to God for your ministry u guys are truly doing the LORDS work! God Bless u guys i shal keep u in my prayers. The only people that stirred Jesus to preach in such a manner were the religious, hypocritical, self-righteous Pharisees, not lost and broken humanity. The world is waiting for a demonstration of the love of God not right doctrine. Jesus could have been right and just all the time but that was not his concern, it was to show the "Goodness of God(that leads people to repentance). If justice was his mission then the women found in immorality would be condemned by His hand, but no she was delivered by his hand. His mission was to reveal the heart of the father, Jesus is perfect theology. If would only pattern our ministry after his we would see salvation's, healings, deliverance, signs and wonders and much fruit.
Please prayerful examine your methods for preaching the "Good News". Use the person and works of Jesus as your text book. People are hurting, we need not waste time with vane deputation's but we must seek to display the POWER of Christ to save.

Religious, hypocritical, self-righteous Pharisees were lost in their sin. Was anyone broken and humble in this clip? (I'm asking because I haven't had the chance to watch the whole clip yet, because I'm on dailup right now.)

The world is waiting for a demonstration of the love of God not right doctrine. From my eyes from the two days that OpenAir was at UCA I tend to fall into the idea that we can look at it as "broken humanity" is waiting for a sign of the love of God or we can just use George Carlin's term "NIBY" Not in My Back Yard, you see too many times we as humans find ourselves trapped in a state of mind where we feel we are correct and then we impose or preach them to others however we as Christians should think about our actions and how we would feel if an Hindu, Buhdist, Athiest, Agnostic, ect were to preach their ideas of faith to us... and maybe then groups likes these which I caught on tape would not be as hostile... but than again I don't think like a "mainstream" christian

I thought that is what he said, but there was alot of noise.

Yes, I do believe that's what he said....oh, I am so grieved in my spirit. In fact, I couldn't finish watching this video.
I weep for a blinded, hardened (multi) generation such as this....
I praise God for you, Jesse, and the others. It's a sober reminder for me to be even more faithful in prayer than I have been.
Personally, I didn't hear one person who was not a mocker, a scorner or a blasphemer. Satan certainly has a stronghold on this campus, but they are without excuse as the Word was proclaimed this day. I know from some of the students' comments you've posted that there are a few who truly believe. May God grant them a holy boldness to prolaim Christ Jesus, and not be ashamed of Him here on earth.

;D Very proud of him. We've been study the Way of the Master, and sounds like some of the same training. My hat is off to him. Keep it up. I know it's hard. You are plowing hard ground! Most of these people will never darken the doors of a church. But the Holy Spirit will water it. God bless!!!!!!!!!! Mrs. L.

It was Jesus concern to be right and just all the time, otherwise he would not have been a perfect sacrifice for our sin, God would have accepted an impure sacrifice.
You are right, the world is definately waiting for a demonstration of the love of God, but right doctrine and telling the truth is a demonstration of the love of God. If you tell people lies about the bible then that is hatred and you are leading them astray, which is worse?

Ro 11:22 - "Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off."
A preacher must preach both the goodness and the severity of God.
