My day started out terrible and I felt like I was being attacked so that I would not be prepared to go out preaching tonight.
But God stirred up a passion in my heart tonight (read the post in the news section "shocking..." I was determined to preach and amazing things happened tonight! While I was speaking to some guys a drunk came and started bothering us. I knew that he was a distraction from Satan so I ignored him. He cane and sat down right next to me as I was speaking to these boys and he passed out. I kept talking but I knew that he was a pawn of Satan and I was waiting for a demon to manifest or something. Seriously, right when I started talking about the cross this drunk guy starts punching my arm. He was drunk so he didn't hit to hard at first... he then started hitting me in the arm harder and he wouldn't stop I tried to push him away and hold his hands down but he refused to stop. My friend finally distracted him and I was able to finish speaking to the boys. One named Lyle was under heavy conviction and took a Bible. We then spoke to two more guys, one was very difficult to speak to because he really believed in relativism. He told me that if you pray the Lord's prayer three times and then open your Bible to whatever page and read then God will answer your prayer. I do not know what came over me but I said I am going to open my
Bible and read the first thing that I see. If it pertains to you then God is trying to speak to you and wants you to be saved, but if it doesn't then he doesn't want you to be saved. I opened to John 19:11 "Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin." I thought,"GREAT!" What did I get myself into!!! But then I realized that this man thought he could judge God just like Pontius Pilate thought he could judge Christ, but it was God who allowed Pontius to have power but it was given to him by God. I told him that you think you can judge God and say I think that his word isn't true or that what he says is true is not true for everyone and son on. He was very talkative before but after that he was really quiet. I think God really spoke to him through that. I then tried to open air preach in front of a club but nobody seemed to be listening to me. One guy started filming me...and others were kind of listening but it was really difficult because it seemed they were all ignoring me, the music was way to loud, and it was a salsa club so I am not sure if many people spoke English. As I was preaching a waiter from a restaurant that my roommate and I go to frequently walked by. I almost always leave a tract on the table at this restaurant. I don't think I have ever really met him but I knew his name so as he walked by I said "hi Steve." He seemed somewhat shocked that a strange girl yelling on a park bench knew his name! It was a really amazing night!
I have talked about how ungodly the "Christian" school I go to is, before. Lis and I leave tracts places but we never really preach to people because it is a really small school and well, if we do then the whole school might turn against us. Well, all that went out the window. We were on the shuttle with a bunch of boys from our school. They began talking about violent video games and bad stuff. Lis made a comment about Lust being adultery and the guy behind us said " If you have something to say then say it to my face." I said "really Ok"... So one of the kids had heard WOTM before and began going through the commandments I asked him if he was born again and if he repented of his sins. He said he had but I brought up the point that he was making dirty jokes a few minutes before I told his friends that they murder in their video games. I spoke to them about 2 Timothy 2:19 "Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
" They didn't like what I said but I am so glad that God opened the door to say something to them. I don't care if the school turns against us, I will serve the LORD. Glory to God!
