Ok, it's not OUR Jesse, but here goes:
Today Sherm, my husband, called and asked if I wanted to ride to Watertown, NY with him to deliver a payroll. It's about an hour drive there, and I was up for an adventure so I said, "You bet!"
We drove thru some whiteouts on Rt 81, and when we arrived, it was beginning to snow there, too. So Sherm called his boss, who said don't bother to come back to the office till tomorrow! Excellent. We had coffee, then went to the local mall, hoping to wait out the snow storm. While walking around, we stopped at a kiosk, and Sherm talked to a young man, about 19 or 20. He showed him (and his young girlfriend) the pink & blue Living Waters tracts. It blew this young man away, and Sherm handed them to him, saying that they're Gospel tracts, be sure to read the back. We then walked away to do some shopping. We came out of one store, looked back, and the young man was showing some customers the illusion! I told Sherm, we've got to witness to him. So, we went back, Sherm began talking to him. Long story short, we took him thru the 10 commandments. He originally thot he was a pretty good person. By the time we got done, he was under conviction. We then gave him the grace of God, and he was very grateful, and thanked us several times. He took our offer of more pink/blues (in fact his girlfriend showed up again, and left while I was going thru the 7th commandment. I thot she must've made like a cockroach when the light comes on, but Sherm told me that she took a couple of tracts to give to someone else!!) Anyway, the young man's name was Jesse. Please pray for him, saints. He was going to blow the dust off his Bible when he got home, and we believe he was sincere.
Praise God for that divine appointment! May Jesse repent, cry out to God Almighty for mercy, trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and be soundly saved!
