This book is about Bro.Yun and the persecutions and triumpths he experienced while being one of China's most renowned house Church Leaders. This book is a great motivator against complacency and luke warmth.A true story that's very Encouraging and Deeply moving.

This is my all time favorite book. This book will stir you up and cause you to realize what is so sick about American churches today. They have a web sight: www.backtojerusalem.com and they have a commision to preach the gosple in all of south east Asia and some other countries that are hard to reach like Iraq and Afganastan and they are going to end up finally at Jerusalem before the Lord comes back. This is the vision that the Lord gave brother Yun. They have suffered alot of persecution and they are not afraid to suffer even more for the sake of the gosple. It just goes to show that suffering makes you even stronger. All things work for good to those who love God. Now God is able to use these people in areas where most christians would never go.They are not afraid to go.They will even tell you not to pray that God delivers them because they know that suffering is a good thing.Brother Yun should have died because of all he suffered but the Lord sustained him and he just one testimony of the power of God.He once said that he will not come out of prison one day later or one day sooner than the Lord allows him to.If you love God and you suffer it is because God has allowed it to make you even stronger.I have to constantly remind myself of this because I have the tendency to pull away from suffering and try and find a way out. I love to talk about what God is doing in the lives of these people and I pray that it happens in this country and I believe it will because of the kind of christians on this board.

Very good book, after the first few chapters I was crying over the deadness of our church compared to the undeground church.

I think Miles bought this book while in Little Rock. I'll have to read it when he comes home in December on furlough.
