Lis and I were just called in to see the dean of students at our "Christian" school. I am not sure what it is about. It could possibly be about passing out and leaving tracts around campus. It is a private college, so I think they can get us in trouble for that. I am not sure though. Pray for us. We will probably get into see her in about two weeks. Pray for our parents, that they will understand. And pray that God will give us the words to speak when we do see her. Thanks Guys.

(Prays)...You gotta be careful doing tracts, even though they're the most powerful words someone will read, we have to respect private institutes and their ability to manage the campus by keeping "discarded paper" from getting all over the place. Giving them to people is one thing, but most places don't like you to leave your "personal effects" strewn about. I think Ray Comfort said only airports will let you just leave tracts where you want to. No matter what happens, I pray you won't be discouraged in your service to the Lord.

I looked in the school's policies and it has really general rules about things like that. We have been really careful where we left them. The campus allows large amounts of advertising so it would be ridiculous for them to say we were littering (there are fliers and posters everywhere). I think they will say we needed to get approval. I do not know, e will see. I could be about something else!

Our meeting with the dean is tomorrow...please pray that we will have wisdom and if we are doing something wrong we will be humbly corrected and if not that we will be led by the spirit to speak what God wills. Thank you everyone. All for the glory of God!

So, I saw the dean today... It was not about tracts but it was about witnessing. I guess the dean had received a call from someone in the neighborhood whose granddaughter had been approached and spoken to by 2 people from Westmont college named Lis and Liz. The granddaughter had felt uncomfortable with what they said and she said and had felt cornered during the conversation. Well, Lis had filled out an application for a leadership award nominating me. In it she told how we preach the gospel. The dean was reading through the applications and realized we were the Lis and Liz that the granddaughter was talking about. So, she called us into her office and we were able to tell her all about the use of the law in evangelism and tell her our testimonies. She even said she would go to the way of the master website so she could check it out! She told us we should be careful speaking to younger kids (the granddaughter was 14) at night. We smiled and nodded and left. I remember the girl we spoke to and I think she was under heavy conviction when we left her. The friend she was with was a hardcore atheist. Lis said it was encouraging to know that what we said actually left an impression on this girl. Pray for this girl that she would be saved and for our dean that she would go to the websites and that God would use what we said. Whew! I am glad that is over! For the glory of God! I guess I can still pass out tracts then?!

Wow! That is a great testimony. I believe you really made a lasting impression on that young girl. Good for her to be uncomfortable. May the fear of the Lord fall upon her (Proverbs 1:7), and she experience godly sorrow that works repentance to salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10).
Do not be surprised if the school will try to dig up all kinds of frivilous infractions on you. They may be so convicted by your goldy lifestyle and biblical obedience that they want to find something to discredit you, that way they will not have to deal with the truth you bring.
They would not take a stand against you preaching, but they could use something else.
