Today was the court appearance. The charges were not dropped. The state attorney was willing, but the officer who arrested me was adamant about not dropping the charges. We did not go to trial today but got a continuance.
I may pay $200 to get the charges dropped so I can go on the offensive more quickly. I do not like these charges hanging over me everytime I am out preaching. The sooner I can take action against them the better so they will back off.

Will continue to pray that God will continue to guide you in what you do.
Kind of weird, a policeman telling a State Attorney what to do. One would think that attorney would have told the police officer that there was NO case.

He also had a witness with him. He was the guy who supposedly called the police to complain the night I was arrested. He is a nearby store owner.
