Brothers and Sisters,
Please pray that the Lord would sent me full-time work. I have done my part by sending out resumes. In fact I continue to send out resumes. Please pray that the Lord would be glorified in my life. Please pray that I am able to provide for my wife and child. We have been praying and we know the Lord will provide for our needs. Please join with us so God can be glorified. God says that a wife should stay at home an take care of things there and be a good helpmate. This is the desire of our hearts, please ask the Lord to grant me full time work.
Thanks
Joe

If she's got a job now, sounds like she's more then enough of a helpmate.
Why not thank God for her help instead of asking God for a favor?

Rod, God is faithful and will provide, because He's promised that His Children would not have to beg bread.

Oh! Trust me when I say we are more than thankful for the job God provided her this fall. I was still in school and her job just fell in her lap. Now that I am graduated we would welcome the opportunity to become more holy and fully serve God by providing the correct home environment, which is the mother at home and the father working. We know this is God's will for his children.
Thank you for the prayers saints!

Ok here is the deal. To make a long story short I was going down a dead end road. The Lord had mercy on me and he has opened a clearing that leads to another road. I have several job interviews in South Carolina and Georgia this next week( JUne 15-19). Please pray that all will go well and my wife and I submitt to the will of God.
Thank You all!

Joe, I think it is honorable that you want to have your wife stay home and take care of the family while you work. It's still not easy though, that is if you like to spend money. My husband likes to use credit cards and I hate credit cards. My parents were always cash only. If the Lord wants you to have it He's not going to have you apply for a credit card He is going to supply you with the money. It's not God's fault if were spending money on things we shouldn't and then don't have the money to buy the things we should. I like to save and He likes to spend. If you save your money and your refigerator breaks down for instance than you can use your savings on a refigerator instead of applying for a credit card. Makes sense to me. I work full time now and Im trying to pay off these credit cards so I can get our house paid off. I really want to go into full time ministry some day. Right now I have barely enough time for my own children but I have to do this for my family for now. My husband does not believe in the Lord providing for us so we will probably always have credit card debt, so Im going to be working for a long time.

Prayer has been answered! Praise God! We will be moving to Griffin, GA on July 6th. Thank you to all who petitioned our God for us. We are very thankful people today and the Lord taught us a lot the past few months.
