The God Hates Everything people will be protesting at the Southern Baptist Convention in Greensboro, NC. I will be there on the days they are there and am preparing a message specifically for them. Pray for me as I prepare to preach to those who hate everything and everyone. Here is the link to flyer they made: www.godhatesfags.com/fliers/jun2006/20060606_southern-baptist-convention.pdf You will have to copy and paste as well as put an "a" where the * is. Thanks for the prayers...

Wait, so you're prtesting against the GHF ppl?
Dear God, if so, your most (maybe only) redeeming quality!

I think a lot of what they believe and practice is because of bad theology. If you look at Ps 5:5 with a "Limited Atonement" perspective, GHFs is the result you get.
Though I believe God has a type of hatred for sinners. It is not a lack or opposite of love. It's more along the lines of a holy disgust.
However what they mean is, "God does not love you."
I know some campus preachers who have seen Fred and his crew in action. They said that they were tremendously hateful, and would even curse like sailers.

However what they mean is, "God does not love you." I know some campus preachers who have seen Fred and his crew in action. They said that they were tremendously hateful, and would even curse like sailers. The Limited Atonement perspective cannot, of example or doctrinal exposition, be the scapegoat here, as Spurgeon, Baxter, Owen, A W Pink, and several others of the Calvinist persuasion believed this very doctrine and expounded it greater than the God Hates Everyone crowd...the above named were men of Biblical love and godly hatred of sin, and though they believed in the exposition of Limited Atonement, your view would come out empty if you ventured to show this same standard within the sphereical influence of the named. Regarding reading any verse in Scripture with a Limited Atonement perspective, Calvinists do this consistently with ALL Scriptures, if in fact one is a complete Calvinist; hence, which other Calvinist has read Psalm 5:5 and come to the conclusion that GHF's has? The issue is not one of Limited Atonement or any other doctrine; the issue is one of being unconverted; had the issue been one of doctrine we could simply simply seek to correct the error, however, as seen in manifested hatred, one is not Born Again if he or she hates the brethren and shows the same for those in the world. Thus, I believe the proper attitude to take would be one of seeking to see these lost (yes, lost) individuals come to Biblical Salvation, rather than mistakenly attribute their evils to any particular doctrinal stream. The issue is sin, not a doctrineal view.

Looks like YOUR god forsook you. What are you talking about? I wonder why you even post such things at times...

One could say that since you could not find the group, god led you in the wrong direction, and clearly did not want you to protest =P.

It's possible that God didn't want me to protest...but how does that mean that He has forsaken me? God doesn't lead in the "wrong direction"...I may try to lead myself in the wrong direction, but God is flawless...

If god picked the other side, then he forsook your side. Simple as that. You can't be on both people's sides.

RevK - I would think that by your obedience to be willing to speak out against the sin, and ignorance of that group, that God honored it. He doesn't do what we think He should or would of course, as you know. But Todd Frield speaking to them certainly was a divine appointment I'd say.
Prause God who acts according to HIS wisdom and sovereignty, and not based on the feelings, will or plans of His children. Thank you for your willingness to speak out. There will be other times and places, other groups, other sins. I am glad you are watchful and ready to preach - in season and out!
