About 2 1/2 weeks ago I purchased a $99 portable chargeable 20 W PA system
www.dak.com/reviews/3010story.cfm
I am carrying around and preaching with.
I have talked to our District Attorney's Office and other local officials and they have permitted us to use the sound system as long as we want .
On the fourth of July night we were preaching at our local civic center and the police were called but said they could do nothing about it, we had freedom of speech!
Saturday, during the day my friend Mike and I were out preaching and some people were out about to have a birthday party and instead of telling us that they were getting offended and to turn down the volume they contacted the local police and the police came out there and told us that we needed a permit or will it be given a ticket, I reasoned with the officer and told him what the District Attorney's Office said and our local permit office and he continued to tell me that if we stayed we would be cited!
For the last two hours i have contacted different officials including our District Attorney's Office again . the woman I just spoke with is born again and she even said that there is no laws in our city prohibiting us from doing what were doing.
I have even spoken with a mayor from a neighboring town and she welcomed us to her city's park, please pray for a favor and the word of God will be preached.
Act 4:17 But that it spread no further among the people, let us straitly threaten them, that they speak henceforth to no man in this name.
Act 4:18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
Act 4:19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
Act 4:20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
Act 4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,
Act 5:28 Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man's blood upon us.
Act 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
Until all hear,
Street preacher
