In the last few days I have noticed a lump on/directly beside my windpipe... I'm going to wait a few more days before getting it checked; I'm hoping it will go away, though now it's beginning to hurt. Pray for me

well, I just got a prelim evaluation, and it's either a swollen lumph node or cancer; so, i am told to go in within 24 hours and not to wait "just in case". So I will be going. Keep me in prayer for the next week Thanks rebecca and newsong

haha lump protudes now from my neck...and it takews too long to go to outpatient's... so please simply ask the Lord to remove the lump, as I will not be seeing a doc anytime soon, due to long wait periods.....I'm impatient but also believe God can use the prayer here to remove it.thanks you all!
RevK...disk is on the way!

I went with BJ Mckelvie to the hospital to get checked twice (or was it three?) times.... and the admin told us once it would be "a few hours" before we could be seen.
Anyhow, I scrapped the idea of going back, hoping the lump would simply "go away".
I have a friend, Doug, about 85-87 years old...
Doug is a Holiness Pentecostal who has served the Lord since his conversion, preaching Holiness, seperation and Holy Ghost Living from beginning to now.
Doug is such a wonderful man....you ask him, "Doug, how much do you love Jesus?"
His reply is always, "Ahhhh......" then you see the biggest smile come on this old timer's face...he literally just lights up!
Doug was in an orphanage when he was a boy....he ate out of trash cans and drank noxema and fought etc etc.
Then, he went to Church and was saved.
He later went to seek the Lord in prayer at the church....
He was taken into Glory and fell at the feet of the Master.
Jesus Christ asked Doug to be a soul winner.
Then, he was taught about the Gifts of the Spirit and given his ministry by the Lord Jesus Himself.
Doug doesn't boats these things and speaks with the utmost reverance when he speaks of how the Lord touched his life so many years ago and continues to do so.
I've known Doug for many years.
Anyhow....
BJ and I were there thsi week...just two days ago.
As we were leaving I asked Doug to pray for me as the growth was now see-a-ble from a side view angle.
Doug obliged and prayed.
You have to realize...when this man prays it's more than a prayer and a "Thank You, Lord".
Doug WAITS.
He always says, "I have to wait for the Anointing to come....I can't do anything apart from Jesus."
He never rushes into something.
He sits and waits.
The time came.
"Dan! There it is! The Anointing!"
His voice changed.
Many would say, "That's not real."
Well, I was healed instantly.
There is no growth at all.
The growth, there and then, shrunk, to the witness of BJ, Doug, Carolyn and myself.
It was visibly noticeable.
Now, the MOMENT Doug prayed, it left.
Whatever it was, it is no longer there.
It wasn't a half hour prayer meeting or a working up of an expectancy.
It was a simple, "Dan! There's the Aoininting!"
It was done just like that, in a moment's time.
Praise be to the Lord who makes His servants a flame of fire!
