Earlier, I posted a prayer which I have since deleted, as the young man I asked prayer for has passed on...earlier than my knowledge of his death.
Several young teens were drinking last night and two best friends got into a fight.
One pushed the other into the street and a van struck this young man, 16 years old, and the individual who ran out to help him is the individual who told me about thsi event.
Jen is her name and she's devastated and is in shock, as are all of these young people; as I am... I had excitedly planned to go and lay hands on this young man, seeking God for him.... but I can't do that now.
I was told about it this afternoon, and was on my way to the hospital to meet these people, and to seek to lead thsi young man to Jesus.
He passed away this morning.
Please keep the family in prayer as they need comfort in this situation.
I am still determined to meet this family and would like all of you to pray for a door to open where I can find out their names, their phone numbers and I would ask that you all pray that I will be well received as I offer to create a memorial video for this young man's family.
In Jesus,
Dan Lirette

Terribly sad news. The death toll caused by the influenced of strong drink continues to rise at a terrifying rate.

Hello. I am the Jenn he is refering to. He was not pushed though. Brad pulled the guy out, and when my friend tried to pull him back to safety, he got hit. It was horrific..and his body was a mess. Thank you Dan for speaking about it. Brad had a few too much to drink. There were 10 of us there, and i was sober, which might have made it worse. I am just so sorry for his mom and my friends who watched our friend lie in his own blood on the street. There was no pushing though, it was an accident..and i hope Brad is in the arms of god now, an di hope he is embraced with warmth and comfort.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Brads family. I lost my first childs father 23 years ago he was shot at point blank range outside a night club in London. Drink and fighting was the cause. I was not with him but I know the devasting affect it has on lives, like an era ends. It changes how we look at life. May God bring comfort in this sad time. www.freewebs.com/icmmain In Christ Ministries UK
