Unfortunately, I went to the Dr. again today and it is worse than they originally thought. The smaller bone has healed from the hairline fracture, but they just found a break in the bigger bone. It was a clean break, but a complete one. Now I have a full cast on and it will most likely be on at least 2 more weeks. Then, if it is healing, I will have on a walking cast for 2-3 more weeks. I can't play any sports (running, jumping) for a total of 6-8 weeks. Anyway, it just takes me off the campus preaching for probably the rest of the Spring Semester. God has just given me more time to pray I guess. Plus, I got a chance to witness to a young Dr. today who I wouldn't have been able to witness to otherwise... ;D
I will still be preaching this Sunday. They will just provide me with a tall stool to sit on while preaching...

My pastor broke his foot awhile back and they got him a nice tall chair/stool so the "holy desk" could actually be like a desk.

Just saw this....praying for you, brother. I'm sure God has other plans for you even if you aren't able to traverse the campuses...

What do you think people may have been disturbed with? What did you say?

Well, in my humble opinion, people were disturbed with the TRUTH...nothing more, nothing less. Some complained about the delivery of the message as well. I guess they wanted me to whisper the sermon or something. How could I deliver a sermon about reaching the lost to a Church that DOESN'T any other way?! This is serious stuff! People just don't seem to get it. There were between 400-500 people there and a few walked out towards the end...before the sermon was over. The Senior Pastor wasn't there and he said that he gots lots of emails and phone calls about the preaching. Some didn't like what I had to say about the mission trip stuff. They had like a ten minute skit that morning about a golf outing to raise money for it....not too long before I preached. Some emailed him and said that if they heard I was preaching they wouldn't show up or would walk out again. But then there were people who REALLY liked it. Of course, the people who didn't like it didn't approach me about it like they should of...they just told everyone else about it. There were many people who liked it and came up to tell me about it too. They wanted books, had questions for me, etc. Some came to the office that week to talk to me about reaching their neighbors and co-workers as well as tell me how much they liked it. I have a clear conscience before God that I did exactly as He wanted me to. And it is a PROVEN FACT that these things will happen when you do God's will....

I broke my ankle last year. First time I ever broke anything but it worked out well in some ways because I read and prayed alot.I have a very hard time sitting still. My husband's grandfather died and I didn't want him to miss the funeral so I told him to go ahead and go,so he was in Pennsylvania for 2 weeks. My 14 year old learned how to cook the hard way!LOL!!!All of my kids pitched in and helped. We had a great time! I will keep you in prayer...

Listened to the full message. All Biblical. Even blew a lil wind into my fire to stir it up. Aparently that is the exact message this church needed to hear. When the anointing is present it will do either 2 things. It will stir up people to surrender fully to the WORD preached. Or it will cause anger and offence to those who are disobedient. But the anointing will not do nothing.
