Could you please pray for this woman I met at work named Devonna. I have been witnessing to her and today I felt led to give her a track. She came to me today just to let me know she was going to go home and read it tonight.
Also for a woman named Debbie, she has a pentecostal background and says she was saved at one time, I have been witnessing to her and I gave her a track too today. Also for Deven and Bill---same request.

I have an urgent prayer request. My stepmother's dad Cran has cancer and about 30 days left to live. My dad and Chris have been witnessing to him for years. They have orders from family members not to preach to him in the hospital. Chris though last night witnessed to him again but his heart is still hardened. It doesn't seem that there is much hope for him but eternity is still a long time, so please say a prayer for him today.I know this is going to be devestating to Chris knowing her dad is going to hell.

I witnessed to four other people at work today. I'm very vocal and I give them tracks too. I don't care if they like it or not, no disrespect but I hear all kinds of garbage all day long and if they don't like me talking about Jesus too bad. So far no complaints yet. This one man named Russle has had several heart attacks and one stroke after another. He really needs prayer. Everyone thinks it's such a miracle that he is even alive.I have been praying that the Lord would sustain him if there is a chance he can be saved. He had another stroke and went to the hospital and I prayed that he would come back. I called my work and he answered the phone, I couldn't believe it was him! Im starting to realize here in America it takes sometimes something much greater than the gosple alone to reach people. Sometimes they just need to see Jesus in you. I am trying to find ways to just get to know people rather than just witness to them and give them a track and be on my way. Of course there us still no excuse for the unsaved. The word of God alone should be sufficient but I know for some people I have heard it took them more than that before they got saved. It's something how when you witness to one person God brings another your way. This one fellow employee at work told me "why don't you go get some coffee," so I walked in the breakroom and their was a young girl crying, she was having a bad day. I was able to cheer her up and now were becoming friends. She is Devon's girlfriend I had been witnessing to.It's so cool how God works!

The other thing I was thinking about is how sometimes we have to plant and water to get the increase, I guess that's what Im saying. Like if you preach to some people, go back shortly after and water that which you have sown. I know the apostle Paul would always go back over and over again. Some people are so hardened it takes alot of watering and alot of sowing.

Sadly Chris's dad would not respond to the gosple and passed away. None of her family wanted her talking about God to her dad in the hospital. They even told her she could visit her dad but not talk about God but she witnessed to him anyway.
She gave him the gosple as she has many times before and since he had a stroke she asked him "do you understand?" and he said "yes" and she said "do you want forgiveness?" and he would not answer her, he was as hard as stone.

Hi Rebecca,
I like hearing about your zeal to share the gospel with coworkers, it has encouraged me a great deal. I have a small office, and people know what I'm about, and that's my Father's business. But I haven't really been witnessing verbally like I should. How do you usually approach your coworkers about the Gospel?

Just don't forget "Free agency." People have the right to choose what they need even if God prompts them.

I have just decided that I am not going to be in bondage in the workplace. If someone asks me how my day was or did I have a nice weekend than I'm going to tell them. The truth is I could not if it were not for Jesus and that's the truth! Why am I having a nice day?..because I have Jesus. If they don't like it than don't ask me how my day was. Plain and simple. Most of the questions people ask me I could not answer without mentioning Jesus unless it's something specific. When I find a convienient time I will actually stop and witness to them. I always carry tracks with me and I give them one, I don't care who's watching me, who hears or who's around.

Most of the people who I have witnessed to so far have been very positive about it and I'm earning their respect.

Yesterday: I'm just stopping by with a prayer request for a woman named Rusty that I was able to witness to at work today. Please pray for her salvation. There is another woman named Debbie who was brought up in church and appears to be really hungering after God. It used to be it was always me talking about God to her and now she is always talking about God too. It's a long story... Please pray she continues on in her walk with the Lord and does not backslide again. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just stopped by for more prayer. Please pray for these two women where I work named Eli and Racheal. Eli is from Germany and she says she is a christian but doesn't seem to have any real convictions. Her son is home from school and is living in her home with his girlfriend. They are living in fornication. She thinks she is being unloving by not being accepting of thier behavior. He is her only son and she is afraid of losing him. She says because he is 20 years old she can't tell him what to do but I told her it is her home and if God is the head of her home than this woman should not be living there because they are not married. Racheal is not saved but her parents are. Also please pray for my manager Don who overheard the whole thing. He always seems to come on the scene when I am witnessing to someone at work and I believe that is the Lord's doing. His attitude has changed towards me alot lately. Thanks.

Here is an update on my friend Debbie. Someone on Eli's forum was asking me about her and this was my reply:
Debbie's faith is alot stronger now and her son has healed up, praise God. I think that really spoke to her because she was really worried and we decided to agree in prayer for him and God did heal him.
Debbie had been brought up in a pentecostal church and was backslidden. I shared with her alot about my faith and I think that brought her under conviction. She seems to be on fire for God now. We work together and she was having problems in her department. She came to me crying but at the same time she was rejoicing because God answered her prayers because our manager decided to place her in another dept. I was really happy for her and we were rejoicing together. This world is so wicked and people can be so cruel.
I am finding their are alot of prodicals out there or maybe people who have just been brought up in church that just need encouragement. Maybe the church is so weak because their is not the encouragement of the other members.
Alot of the church specifically those in America are concerned about things that do not bring edification, exhortation or comfort so the needs of the body are not being met. That's been my experience lately anyway. Sometimes people just need encouragement in the right direction.
How can we help others if we are concerned about things that do not profit?
This reminds me of Carter Conlon's message on "Beware of the Angry Watchman". I think Debbie could be an example of someone who lost her way and didn't need to be scolded, judged and condemned but someone to lovingly encourage her and point her in the right direction. She comes to me for encouragement and support and we always give each other a hug. There are many out there like Debbie. At first I felt critical of her. I thought to myself "if she was brought up in church than she should know better" but the Lord convicted me and said "so were you and you lost your way too!"

Could you please pray for the salvation of a young man named, Richard? I was able to witness to him today at work and he is preparing to be enlisted into the military in a couple of weeks. Please pray that the seed that was sown brings forth fruit unto repentance.
I'm thinking about buying him a bible with his name on it.Thanks.

We live in an area of low and middle income families. Lately I'm really starting to see the Lord's hand in this. We have a nearby trailer park and the kids from this park have many needs. Because we have five kids our kids have attracted other children to our home. We really enjoy having them over and blessing them.
Today we were able to buy one of them a pair of shoes. We all attend church together and we have them over to eat with us. Please pray the Lord gives us wisdom on how to better witness to these kids and help these families in our neighborhood.
This one mother who is a christian has a husband who is not serving the Lord. He is on drugs again after having been rehabilitated once before. He has gone to the alter many times but keeps going back to his old ways, he is also bipolar and very difficult to live with. Their seems to be such an attack on marriages and families. They are seperated now and she works nights. Were watching her daughter today so she can get some sleep. Please pray for her also.Thanks.
