Greetings all,
I was licensed into the ministry about 9yrs ago ago and have had several opportunities to be ordained, but due to various reasons, decided to wait. This Sunday I will be ordained as a minister after a 3yr testing period by my Pastor and the Elders of my home church. I do not take such a responsibility lightly and covet each of your prayers as I take this next step of my journey. I have resigned positions from other para-church ministries and will be concentrating on working with my home congregation and brothers here. Please remember my family also, as they will continue to be an integral part in my ministry.
Grace and Peace, Joe

Praise God brother! We need more ordained ministers like yourself, who have biblical theology and believe in biblical evangelism! Those are the two weakest points in the American Church today.

Thank you both for your prayers and support! Being ordained will open up several more opportunities to better serve in our community and abroad. I am blessed by a supportive congregation and pastor who have stood with me in the face of controversy. Between my open air ministry and my stance on issues such as open theism, it would have been easier for them to try and distance themselves from me as others have done. I will be busy with my family, ministry and career that often requires travel to Florida, but I think this will force me to make better use of my time. Hopefully, this will also help us start a program that will include taking up regular offerings for open-air preachers. I would like to have both of you (Rev and Jesse) come and speak to our congregation sometime this spring so they will know who they are being asked to help support.
Grace and Peace, Joe
