There have been some nasty lies going around about me. I preach 2x a week at UGA for several hrs. at a time. It has been said I no longer confrount sin. This is Wrong! It has been said I preach OSAS. This is a LIE. Two guys were talked out of it today. We have a student group at UGA and are seeing many student rise up to preach the gospel. Please contact me if you have been sent these e-mail. I will answer any questions. I integrated apologetics into my preaching and it has been powerful to see students respond to a reasoned defense (1 Peter 3:15). But I still preach Law before GRACE. Praise God! I was told that you no longer preach open air, but I am very glad to hear that is not true!
I agree that apologetics must be integrated into open air preaching, along with preaching about law and grace.

Praise the Lord! I have really been influenced by your boldness for the truth of God, Brother John. Keep up the good work in the Lord. I look forward to seeing more of your videos/teachings. I am thankful you don't teach OSAS, as there would be no reason to preach cuz practically everyone in the US is a professed Christian.

Your new site looks great. Are you coming to the SOAPA conference that will be in Atlanta? It would be great to see you there.

Preacher in charge think I have stared a cult. Though I am under the cover of a denomination of over 2000 churches. It is said I preach OSAS. Though just yesterday I reasoned 2 guys out of it. ! was off 2 seminary. At a Bible study yesterday 2 other guys stoped believing OSAS and sin every day. I have stopped using inflamitory speach and fullfulling a "right wing" stereotype. As I have become more true to the Spirit of Christ - my message have become more convincing to believer and unbeliever but my crouds are smaller subdued and fruitful. Of course this offends some and they believe I have back slid. I think I have grown and they are "stuck in the mud." In my last 7 meetings - 4 I had very good crouds - 3 I ended up in powerful 1 on 2 conversations. I think the probem is croud idolatry.

Amen, Brother! Over the years that I have been involved with Open air ministry/public evangelism I have come to see the value of being at one campus in a consistent manner, and while one any campus being SERIOUS about the preaching.
During 2006-2007 I was able to preach many days almost every week for a year and a half at the same campuse. While at first it was shocking to some because they had never seen an open air preacher before, I stayed serious and on track and didn't worry about huge crowds. The only thing inflamatory that I said was scripture and truths about other philosophies and religions - but NOT for the sake of being shocking...God's truth can be shocking enough. God blessed that ministry and the crowds came ANYWAY. When I first arrived at the campus, the school paper did an interview with me that misrepresented me a little and only gave a brief view of what I was doing - a year and a half later, as I was announcing that I would be moving and no longer able to come to the campus, the paper did a "farewell brother Jeff" article.

I am sorry about the spelling and grammar in my last post. I was in a huge rush to get to campus and did not bother to look and check. My wife is greatly embarrased. My awful grammar and inability have been EXPOSED! Forgive me and thanks for the backing. If you hear of those who get these false e-mails about me tell them to please contact me. These e-mails have been sent out to many I do not know and I am not privy to them. I love open air outreach and miss your fellowship. Today was AWESOME on campus. We are having a teaching, worship and prayer meeting 'till we drop a week from this Friday. I believe this is going to be a great time.

It's really awesome to hear about your outreaches Brother John. It sounds like your doing a very excellent work.
And it's great that your being an influence to help spread the sound doctrines of conditional security and holiness. Praise God!
