I spent this year converting old reel-to-reel recordings of Winkie Pratney's teaching at YWAM's School of Evangelism held in Hilo, HI back in 1974. There's some 18 hours to listen to, you'll get the full affect if you go from beginning to end, giving your full attention (not while you work). God bless you! Winkie Pratney -- Hilo, HI -- 1974

I'd just like to say that Winkie Pratney is a wonderful man of God, with an incredable intellect.
His personal life is amazing. I asked him how much he sleeps at night, and how much he reads. He said he only sleeps 4 hours every night, and he reads about 8 books a week. He has the largest personal library I have ever seen of powerful, classical books, typically on soul-winning.
He said that judge on whether or not he reads a book is based on whether or not the author was a soul-winner. If he wasn't, he is not interested.

Praise GOD and thanks for that info!
My bro at work studied under Winkie for some years and got a chance to stay with him at his NZ home for a few days. What my bro had to say about Winkie was just as Jesse said and then some. Integrity integrity integrity.

Wow! Very stirring and impressive. Do any of you know how I could obtain a copy of his book on Revival? I have heard quotes from this book by Dr. Michael Brown but never seen the book.

I see only this one on their site: www.21cr.org/books_winkie_pratney/index.htmland I just ordered it from Amazon for about $8 new. If you find it, let me know too! My buddy has some books by him, and a LOT of old audios on cassette.

He said that judge on whether or not he reads a book is based on whether or not the author was a soul-winner. If he wasn't, he is not interested. You know, that's an odd thing for him to say actually. Considering he reads something like 4-6 books a week, and there are hardly enough authors that are soul winners to account for that many books for him to continue doing for very long. Not to mention all the times he mentions books he's read that are not Christian or by non-soul winners... I find it hard to believe he'd say that.
