Galatians 5 (NLT)
Freedom in Christ
1-So Christ has really set us free. Now make sure that you stay free, and don't get tied up again in slavery to the law.
A Christian co-worker of mine was attending a seminary and was disinvited when the school learned he worked at a bar. His statement was "whatever happened to that freedom in Christ?"
Comments on this scripture???

As for working in a bar:
"Woe to men valiant for mixing intoxicating drink," - Isaiah 5:22 (NKJV)
"Woe to him who gives drink to his neighbor..." - Habakkuk 2:15 (NKJV)
Now in reply to "Freedom in Christ"
The Galatians verse used to support his sinful lifestyle, is in context of circumcision, and being free from the law in that case.
"Abstain from all appearance of evil." - 1 Thessalonians 5:22 (KJV)
I would like to support the Seminary on their stance, well done!
