I wanna clarify a little here... I'm not at all trying to get people off this Forum... I've found thsi to be better than the one we recently started; this is quite literally an amazing place! My initial action was to ask the lost in the other forum to come here, but it's useless; no one wants to be "preached at"...so that si why i asked some to go to the other forum, to preach anyway, whether they like it or not I just have a gard time and they're claling me names hahahaha not that I care but it's hard to sway these people off as all they ARE doing is name calling. I'm having a hard time initiaiting conversation with some of these people because a few have arguments which I have not encountered before and would have to study up on for a few weeks befor ebeginning to answer... some of you guys have some experience with many of the topics covered 1 person is OK but it;s better to have a few more. If interested apply at link lol

I realize you are staunch believer, however, not everyone feels the same way you do, and how do we find the middle ground?

Hi SweetMeolody:
Yes, a staunch believer I am...BUT contrary to what some on the other Forum believe, I DO NOT think I "know it all".
I'm human, fallen and Icondemn no one.
The Word condemns.
I also was condemned.
Melody, I do not believe for one moment that "my" religious beliefs somehow make me superior or better than you guys .
What I do believe is that I'm called to offer to you guys the same opportunity of change that God, through Jesus Christ, has given to me.
Sure, people get offended when you say, "Repent!"...I used to laugh MYSELF.
Then, I realized, "Hey...I really am a sinner and I really do need to come to Jesus Christ."
I swallowed my pride and admitted what I always knew:
I was going to hell without Jesus.
Now, many years later, I'm greatful that God saw fit to touch my sinful heart and give me a new one.
It's not about "trashing" you guys; it's about throwing out a lifeline before the waters of sin drown you.

That is the very problem. There is no "middle" or "neutral" ground. You are either for Christ or against. The secular worldview is in complete oppostion to the Christian worldview.

Dan, thanks for the great cyber fishing hole...what wretched foul fish are there, but our Father can clean them up! Grant, saw your post too and it was good, was wondering who that was I feel like the "bad cop" though now...is there a "good cop" anyway when it comes to judgment and repentance? Not until the message of grace I guess. I am all over that Celeste woman..I rebuked her for being a blasphemer and told her to repent. Those people are already ticked of at me just after ONE day! Man, God's truth is powerful and JACKS people up!

My CITY (Moncton, NB) is exactly like you read on the Forum over there.
This city is hell bound and there are very few of us who actually get the work of the Gospel done here.
Our largest youth outreach here takes teens and brings them into the Church to have "Christian Concerts" and their music? Creed and Shaggy.
So, our city is vile, believing, because of false Christians, that we are all "to love" and "not to judge".
My city is reprobate.
You people are having a powerful effect.

There are 331 Metropolitan Statistical Areas as defined by the US Census Bureau. All of them have at least one message board. All of them have lots of "sin." Are you guys going to invade each one? Are you going to criticise the restaurant reports for Montcon too? Is eating at the local McDonalds to be considered immoral or sinful?

We will invade every sinful heart with the Message that Jesus can set them free...we will do this until death separates us from this world!
AMEN!

YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT! The power of the Holy Spirit is going to invade everywhere the gospel is preached and some will come to repentance, others to judgment. Either way, they are going to be jacked up. PREACH THE WORD IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON YOU MEET UNTIL YOU DRAW YOUR DYING BREATH! Look out World....Here He comes....

I see. Umm, so how many message boards do you plan on invading per week? With an objective so large, you'd do well to have a strategic plan.
Oh, and what does 'jack-up' mean. It sounds kind of kinky.
I'm not personally into that sort of thing, but if you are, there's nothing wrong with that. I was just curious as to how one does something so intimate electronically.

Repent.

Ahhhh..... now I see why you have intellectual knowledge but no true morality... Such filthy only serves to show the wickedness of man's hearts. Repent and believe the Gospel. My favorite artists are people like The Eagles ("Hotel California," "Desperado," "The Last Resort"), Ben Folds (everything), the Dixie Chicks (their latest is amazing, "Not Ready to Make Nice"), Billy Joel ("Two Thousand Years," "Famous Last Words," "Goodnight Saigon," everything), Simon & Garfunkel ("Bridge Over Troubled Waters," "Kathy's Song," "A Most Peculiar Man," everything), Vanessa Carlton ("White Houses"), Five for Fighting ("Superman," "100 Years"), Jewel ("Daddy"), the Goo Goo Dolls ("Sympathy," "Iris," almost everything)...I could go on.

My favorite musician is Charles Wesley (He wrote hymns) and I have a CD with a bunch of them sung by a choir in England with an orchestra playing the music. AWESOME, some of them make me cry.

Ooh, Val, I must say, the Eagles definitely "Take it to the Limit!" I also love Saint William of Joel ("Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" is wonderful!), although "Don't Ask Me Why." And can you "Imagine" the world without John Lennon? I also "Can't Fight this Feeling" that REO Speedwagon is one the best groups ever. And Fleetwood Mac will never be "Second Hand News" to me. And I can't begin to express "The Power of Love" that I feel for Huey Lewis and the News. And Kiss, "I Was Made for Loving You!" Even though I'm not a "Rhinestone Cowboy," "Southern Nights" just wouldn't be the same without Glen Campbell. I also "Jump" with joy when I hear Van Halen. Boston of course is one "Rock and Roll Band" that gives me "Peace of Mind." Don't you just love it when you hear the chords of Joan Baez "Blowin' in the Wind?" Europe has to make the "Final Countdown" of my top favorites. Of course I have "Love in the First Degree" for Bananarama. You know, I don't even have a "Photograph" of Ringo Starr. I can easily say that "I Want It All" when I'm in the Queen section. The Bee Gees keep me "Stayin' Alive." If I wasn't working "Nine to Five" I could get "Back Home Again" and listen to Dolly Parton and John Denver, respectively. Elton John can say that he knows I "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me." Gordon Lightfoot is my favorite to listen to when I'm driving down a "Carefree Highway." Plus I definitely saw "The Sign" when I last listened to Ace of Base. "Knowing Me, Knowing You" I can say that ABBA is supreme. Broadway, I am "Hopelessly Devoted to You." Matter of fact, when someone asks me I always say "Go, Go, Go Joseph" musicals don't disappoint. It's "The Sadder But Wiser Girl" who won't have fun on the Great White Way. Yes, it's on Broadway that you can see all four "Seasons of Love!" It's just that when I listen to the aforementioned artists, "I Feel Pretty" and it seems that the hills are alive with "The Sound of Music." So what can I say? I guess I must ask, since "Life is a Cabaret," how can you ignore the beauty of "The Music of the Night?"

trekker, JACK UP simply means that when the Holy Spirit makes people aware of their sin before a Holy God, as He convicts them. Some are drawn to repent, others are simply judged. I pray you are part of the former, but either way, when God's Truth and His Word and His gospel is preached, even on a discussion board, it accomplishes whatever God intended it for. So you guys will have NO EXCUSE on judgment day, because all of oyu have heard over and over again what the Truth is. Now you either accept or reject. If you choose to continually reject, then we will continually rebuke, in the Name of Christ, out of love for both Him and you, so that you will not perish. Either way, we are doing all we have been called to do, and that is to take the gospel to EVERYONE...not because we think we are smarter, holier, or anyhting else, we simply know how wicked this world is, we know the Truth about sin and judgment, and we would be hypocrites and unloving if we DIDN'T speak truth to you. One day, you will either be thankful, or you will gnash your teeth in hell and curse the Truth that condemned you to your punishment because you refused to accept is and what the Cross signified.

My CITY (Moncton, NB) is exactly like you read on the Forum over there. This city is hell bound and there are very few of us who actually get the work of the Gospel done here. Moncton is and always has been a tough city to reach. I was born and raised in a rural area, but attended church in Moncton in my teen years. I am currently living out of the province, but the church I attended currently has 3 or 4 splits off of it. To my knowledge, they're all teaching the same thing. The problem is that people in Moncton and surrounding area - even Christians - nitpick about un-important things. The focus has become people and what everybody else is doing instead of settling differences amicably and uniting for the purpose of souls. My heart still wishes well for those who attempt to teach the truth in Moncton. My head says their life will be difficult, but God can and will sustain.

Yes... it's rough here, isn't it, Kitty? This city is...well, sleeping.
The church sleeps while the world dies.
Both are a reproach to God.
I ask that God would set us all on fire.
Not for unifying with every nick and cranny which claims Jesus... but for the fulfilment of the Great Comission...amen! and if that means my coming together with other Holiness Evangelicals, may God birth it!
Also..... the Moncton Forum is tough, huh?
They're now calling us names boo hooo
