When preaching on the Oswego campus, a student asked me what Heaven will be like. I thought of the detailed description Jesus often gave of hell but could not think of a detailed description of Heaven.
I grew up in an idolatrous family that said, "Heaven is whatever Heaven is to you". I've come now to believe that Heaven is simply, yet wonderfully, the manifest presence of God.
In all that there is, is there anything greater then God?
No, there is nothing greater then God. God has created the heavens and the earth so neither the heavens, the earth, or anything which is in them could be greater then the one who created all.
Not riches, not fame, not power, not anything is greater then God.
Therefore, in all your seeking, seek after God. I believe that when we come to a realization of who God is, we won't want to seek after anything else.
Ps 16:5 - "The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot."
