I meant to start this thread some time back. I'll start it with a few questions to see how it gets started.
Is salvation a covenant?
If so, who is it directly between?
How many parties are involved?

The Covenant was made between the father and the Son, while mankind is the recipient

So are Christians the offspring (as opposed to one directly involved) between the Covenant of the Father and the Son? Ultimately isn't this where the Calvinist idea of predestination comes from?
This is going to be a Calvinist/ Armenian discussion but it's from a different prospective... incase anyone was wondering.
I think this is what you call Covenant Theology?

As a Calvinist, do you believe the Covenant is only between Father and Son? Or that it is a threefold cord? Father, Son, and believer?

I have David Wilkerson's Book, "The New Covenant unveiled".... have you read it? AMAZING BOOK! Also, the Covenant I have refrred to is Arminian

Nope. But it sounds like a good one to put on the list. My pastor has been teaching about covenant and it has peaked my interest in the other thoughts on it.
I thought Calvinist believed that the covenant was between Father and Son, and the Elect were the offspring of that covenant? If that is wrong can you fill me in?
What's with you people being invisible? LOL We know you are online when you respond within minutes.
