Sola Fide (faith alone). Is it biblical?
Of course it is. Eph 2:8-9
I hope you are not spending too much time debating with those Catholic apologists? they are very, very good at defending the Churches doctrines.
I like the comment by Leonard Ravenhill at the bottom of your posts.
Good on ya!

I once heard a teacher say this, "Faith is response to revelation." If you take that definition it is biblical. What is the sinners response to the revelation of Christ? Repent and humble yourself! What is the Christians response to farther revelation? Obey!

The reason I ask is becaues of repentance. It seems that faith alone, at least the way I see it, could be the reason that iniquity abounds. We (when I say 'we' I mean the entire body of Christ, no one particular) have forsaken the message of repentance.
Since salvation comes when one repents, and places their faith in Jesus Christ it is logical to say that sola fide is not biblical, wouldnt you say? Of course you cannot work you soul to save, for that your Lord has done, but will you work like any slave for love of God's dear son?

I think the problem is what people have made faith into. Today faith is nothing more than an "Amen" to the Gospel. That is not faith. At best it is demonic, dead faith.
