Recently a group of 16 seed sowers went to downtown Raleigh to hand out tracts, witness 1-2-1 and preach the Gospel to those at the free concert and the surrounding area. The last two times I have gone, there were 4 people and 3 people out there to witness. It was a blessing to have so many. To read the whole story, complete with audio and pictures, go to My Xanga. God Bless...

Amen... I too find it a real encouragement when there is a good number of people going out to witness together.

Have you ever run into problems with the police in Raleigh? I have a lawsuit against the city for shutting down an outreach because we didn't have a permit to be on the public sidewalk.
Since that event, the city changed its ordinance to require groups of ten or more to obtain a permit.
Last Saturday our group was on the street with about 60 people and the police tried to get us to sign for permit. It was refused and eventually the police backed down.

Yes I have once. But I ran into the same guy on this occassion and his partner, who was a higher rank them him, basically told him to be quiet because he was talking to me. Never heard of the permit for 10+ people. We weren't all in one place, so maybe that's why they didn't say anything about that. Or it could be that they just don't know the law. That is usually the case with policemen. It's sad to say, but most times either policemen don't know the law or they refuse to enforce it...
