miles, no one cares about evolution....its all theory. creationism, evolution, big bang...all of it. you shouldnt delude yourself by thinking that people actually 'believe' in it like you believe in god.

so, and you do biblethumper? Yes, by the Grace of God, I do. I won't ask you the same, as you lay no claim to the Grace of God. Thus, you're immoral and filthy in word, thought and in deed. May the Lord God have mercy on you.

Of course you're immoral...your own words prove it....
In the Thread titled "Masturbation", you said: i masturbate and am married [to a woman]. sheesh. who knew...i was a homosexual. i love men. i want to roll around in their feces too. heck, if you will, bring a few animals down so i can rape them too. i molest children as well. mmm. children.

I would have to agree with Mr. Mahar. In his case, I would say he came from monkeys. He would have you believe that all scientists embrace evolution...they do not.

my father is a god-fearing man. he is probably one of ten christians i have ever known in my life. the others are a facade, every single one of them. he says that christians limit god. he also says that if god wanted to use evolution he could have, although he doesn't neccesarily believe it. he says that a new or old earth has no bearing on christianity at all. he also says if you are willing to let god do what he wants, instead of what you want him to do...you will see that things are a lot more simple.
i agree with him, and while i am not a believer, i think if christians would stop trying to control god...things would be better off.

I don't disagree with you Dad's logic. You should listen to him more. However, I don't think it's an issue of control. No one can "control" God. It's an issue of obedience to God. The Scriptures give us more than 66 passages (thereabouts) referencing the term "Created". So this is the premise for which we believe. If God would have said in the Scriptures, we came from snow flakes, this is what we would believe. It's a matter of faith, not control, in what our Creator tells us.
