hey, i have a serious question for you:
have you considered that maybe these people asking for financial assistance may be, in turn, using it against our own troops, or to purchase weapons to kill innocent people, and level communities?
i have been hearing report of people asking for donations here in america, and that it may be sent back with good intentions of helping people... but is used against people for the wrong reasons.
have you heard of this news, and do you actually know this pastor?

The U.S. gave money and weapons to an agent working in Russia to overthrow the communist party.
This agent never succeded, but got very upset with America in the years after the cold war.
This agent brought down two U.S. buildings in NYC.
This agent is Osama Bin Laden.
Do you really want another Osama?

i think he is suggesting that everytime we give aid to foreign countries that it is turned against us, or our allies--or other people. period. however, if you know the man then it is a different story. i was simply warning you before you start empyting your pockets on people that will end up putting a bullet in your head, or the heads of your loved ones.

jesus' death, according to christianity, was in the salvation of mankind. your contribution to the weapons of enemies would be meaningless. i am not sure how you can compare the two.
