I recently found this statistics chart from NY Times that lists more of the industrial countries in the world and their thoughts on evolution. I'm curious to what brings these numbers and is it to say that Turkey and America are smarter or just more religious? Slim.

Well, from the wording of your post, prolly not the smarter.

What CervyY said (but if feel like debating it, I did start an evolution thread in the World View forum, and I'd be happy to hear your evidence)

The only highly Islamic nation on that list is Turkey, but they reflect those of Islam. Please note that Muslim's look at the Old Testament as a Holy Book, and therefore many believe God created all just as the Bible said.
Smarter is a relative term. Someone who memorizes all the cards in trivial pursuit might seem very smart, but if they lack understanding of the subjects what good is the data.
If this life is merley where we make choices that leads to either heaven or hell, the criteria for smart or not will be clear into eternity.

at the rate the western world is developing with technology, pollution, escalation of wars and nuclear capabilities, if Darwin was correct in his theory of evolution and we are to evolve, by the time we are to change form we'll probably all be dead and this planet left barren and desolate. from a religious point of view, if god wanted us different he would have made us so, and if he felt like it could just snap his fingers and bam you've got two heads! it does make you wonder...

Funny how these "Christians" believe they are a new creature, that God changed them. Yet ... they don't believe in evolution.
If God wanted us one way ...

It seems you like to put words in my mouth, yet, if it were not for your insolence or lack of attention to detail, you would realise i am merely talking hypothetically - i neither stated whether i accept or reject the theory of evolution. It MIGHT be better to read the message a few times next time before quoting me and taking the piss..

I was merely adding onto what you said with my own observations. Calm down, don't have a heart attack.
