Hmm ... not so much greatly applicable to "pro-drug" positions in a school setting ... it wasn't part of the curriculum ... also, OFF SCHOOL property, kinda important when they say he can't do it because it's "violating the school’s policy of promoting illegal substances" at a school sanctioned event ... oh, gloriousness is our country sometimes ... need to think about it.
Sadly though, I love how when other's compalin about their free speech being breached you are appalled they even did it, but when you're free speech is breached ... well, hell hath no furry like a hypocrit scorned.

What's next, suspending kids for something disagreeable they write in an opinion column, or for rumors of their activity? Perhaps arresting christian street preachers in a mostly Mormon school for spreading "dangerous ideas" would be a good next step? For my money free speech is sacred to the continued success of the great American experiment. I hope the Supreme Court does take the case, and then slaps the school district down so hard that every school district in the country winces. This kind of institutional behavior and censorship cannot go unchallenged.
