www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_EKHK1C2IE This video disturbs me a lot. There are others if you go to the "related videos" off to the side, where you can see some of the other atrocities that this woman is pulling. This is institutionalized child abuse, and I do not like it. Luckily, the camp disbanded after the movie came out in reaction to the backlash. Guess the "real" Jesus is looking out for us after all. Thoughts about this? I'm of the opinion that this kind of stuff is completely inappropriate for children as young as in the video. Five-year-olds crying about their "sins" makes me sick to my stomach, honestly. I'm glad this isn't a representation of Christianity at large.

I'm glad this isn't a representation of Christianity at large. YES! It really isn't. I haven't seen the movie, but I've seen the little trailers here and there and it looks like the camp pretty well represents the charismaniac side of Christianity. I have a feeling the lady might be a reconstructionist, too.

^ So are you saying that the rest of them are the good ones, or the bad ones?
'Cos I'm sure as hell saying that this female dog is one of the bad.

I would say she is one of the 'bad ones', yes.

There was obviously a lot of emotion going on there. Emotion doesn't necessarily mean spirituality...there is a huge gulf.
I also picked up a strong emphasis on political "war"....even saw good ol' Ted Haggard speaking about the evangelicals voting in whoever they want b/c there's so many.
I'm not sure how much of Jesus was in all of that, but I trust if those kids are really seeking the Lord, he will show His true self to them in due time.
