I just spoke with Jesse on the phone. He said that this is the only public campus in Virginia that DOES NOT allow open air preaching.

Jesus would so agree with that little gem. How come da Lawd never releases his wrath upon the more liberal, feminazi, homo-lovin and therefore evil universities? Surely the homocommiebortin meccas of Columbia, Yale, NYU, Stanford, and Cornell are twice as wicked as VA Tech is. Maybe da Lawd just has it in for Krischunz.

You too, Alan? Those dang college students deserved to be shot. Like, Jesus was all for killing the innocent. Totally. Again I pose the question - what about Columbia? According to your logic, we should have had a massacre ages ago. I mean, what school is more pro-woman, pro-gay, and liberal than Columbia? Shall I start wearing a Kevlar to class? I think da Lawd is a little mistaken about the universities he should seek venegeance upon. Yallz make Satan look better and better every time I visit, man. Hell, you make the shooter look sane in comparison.

Shetani, you missed what I linked to. I did not say or imply that the murders took place because anyone wanted it or anyone deserved it.

I might be a tad paranoid, but it seems to me that you and byhislife are passing the shooting of as a symptom of no Jayzus on campus - which is, of course, ridiculous. You can say I have a Krischun sixth sense.

It's a shame that the speakers didn't mention Jesus, I'm sure it would have been very comforting to the christians in the student body.
byhislife...surely you are not suggesting that there is a causal link between the campus's policy on open air preaching and this event taking place?

The link is not between the shooting and not being allowed to preach on campus. The link is between the depraved heart/mind of the shooter(his sin) and the shooting. This same link is in all of mankind which is why we have war, rape, murder, abortion, and of course lying. As Shetani has wrongly pointed out, like the rest of the world, we love to blame God for our lawlessness. The truth is that we are all mass murderers. In Matt 5:21-22, Jesus taught:
Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
So Jesus drew this line between our anger and the way God sees us. He connected the dots between our hatred for others and His Holy Law. This of course leaves us all condemned to hell. But, praise God, He will forgive us and wash us in the blood of His Son, if we will receive Him as our Lord and Saviour. Amen.

The link is between the depraved heart/mind of the shooter(his sin) and the shooting. Try mental illness, sh!twad. Cho was out of his fxcking mind; therefore, in his skewed, chemically-altered perception, he decided to go on a rampage. Religion never entered into the equation. What that boy needed was therapy and medication. Lots of medication. Last I checked, belief in da Jayzus will not spontaneously correct your neurochemistry. Dude. Could you imagine if VT had, in an alternate universe, allowed people to preach on campus? Could you imagine Jeff, Jesse, or the rest of the in-closet parade shrieking at Seung Cho, calling him filthy, inherently evil, selfish, and stupid for not being a Krischun? Oh, I'm sure he would have responded to you guys marvelously. I would love to see that little spectacle - with a Kevlar on and hiding behind a tree, of course.

Cho was a prisonner inside himself, with no hope , no love , nothing. He has built walls around his soul, walls of suspicions, walls of hatred and unspoken violence. Was he aware or unaware of it ? No human can tell , anyway what Jesus has said is true : there is nothing that is hidden (in the heart) that won't be manifested... For it is from the heart that comes pride, anger ,murder, lust, envy and such things... Sadly noone has come to Cho to make him free. The good news of the Gospel is to make free the prisonners , to deliver the captives, heal the broken hearted, purify the leprous etc... See Isaiah chapter 61

Sadly noone has come to Cho to make him free. And sit his deluded behind in therapy. After all, believin' on da Jayzus cannot cure you of a chemical imbalance, no matter how much you shriek at young people or control your wife. Of course, I would reconsider - if any of you were to provide me with a scientific article that chronicled the healing powahz of Jayzus on the brain. Does he come in a mist, or pill-form? Furthermore, is there a little Jayzus marker one can use to track his progress from the Sin Disks to the Holy Spirit Fog? Lawd, man. Do any of you really think that Cho would have suddenly coverted upon your shrieking at him? If so, see a shrink. Immediately. Your mental deficiency and/or chemical imbalances are preventing you from realizing that your better-than-thou, listen-to-me-or-else attitude is the same one Cho was raving around on his little behind the music video. I'd hypothesize that Jesse would get in about five minutes of 'you're filthy!' and 'anyone who isn't for Christ is evil!' drivel before Cho would maul him to death. Then again, that might have saved some lives. Dang you and your preaching restrictions, VT!
