This is from their document. They 1. study 2. fellowship 3. Lord's supper 4. pray But where is seeking and saving the lost? This is why Calvary Chapel is just as bad as any emergent church. They study God's word and neglect God's command to preach the gospel. They like many will not take the Truth to the streets and proclaim Jesus to the lost. Many don't even know how to do an unbiblical altar call, ineptitude abounds in this area of Christianity. I was part of this "movement" for ten years and was duped into lukewarmness. These so called pastors are responsible for multitudes of false believers in this country. They teach anti-nomianism and licentiousness of God's grace. Chuck Smith, Jr. is just a product of this lukewarm environment. Shame on them! Calvary Chapel's need to repent and do the work commanded of them.

John, I have to respectfully disagree with your blanket statement. I was saved at a Clavary Chapel (Raul Reis) and he preaches sin, righteousness, judgment and Hell. I think that alot of OA preachers believe they have the market cornered on the gospel. Well I have seen and read about the power of God working in many ways, and most of them do not invole holding a banner or wearing a sandwich board. True Chuck Smith Jr. is headed in the wrong direction, but if it were up to most OA preachers they would simply yell at him and tell him to repent or perish. Instead they might try gentle instruction and patience ( or are these no longer biblical principles). For me to hear Chuck Smith Sr. stand up for the truth of the word is very encouraging, especialy when he knows his son is wrong and doing so would cause him to be disassociated with Calvary.
