G'day,
I am doing research into the Kabbalah, and wonder if you guys can give any info on it, like beliefs, teachings, people invovled, and how to refute it.
Thanks

I don't know anything about it, but that sounds like the name some Middle Eastern thug looking guys gave me of their god one day on South Beach. They showed me a chain around their neck with a medallion on it. What do you know about it and why are you researching it? Just curious.

A mate and I researching it because of the increasing trend of it, and it wouldn't surprise me if we see a big push for Kabbalah in the near future

From what I've found it's somehow related to Jewish mysticism. I really don't no for sure exactly but I'll research it and post my results.

A women, I believe a professor, started hecking us on the Oklahoma University about Kabbalah.
Her tactics were to be loud and angry, and ask 10 questions at once to try to confuse you.
But when I started asking her what kabbalah taught, she made herself look foolish. I would just repeat what she said like "Justice and mercy sit in the same tree" things that are completely stupid.
So, if someone starts talking about Kabbalah, just ask them questions like, "how does Kabbalah deal with sin" and "what does Kabbalah say happens when you die" and "how do you know that to be true?" And "prove it!"

just to give you a brief summary of what i know about Kabbalah
-due to a old european prohibition, you must be over 40 to understand it -due to traditional attitude, women will have a very hard time understanding and practicing Kaballah? hmmmm........... weird to think that, when Brintney and Madonna are the two Kaballah-ists -the red string that they were is a 'protection' from negative forces, namely the evil-eye. a common attitude in most religions
-basically its very traditional judiasm with alot of further insight from books on angels and the many name of the gods, 72 to be exact.
- they believe in Torah and spoken law
this to me is just another religion to partial fulfill the confusing minds of non-Christ seekers

I spoke to a kabbalah guy last night. He told me that he was a drop of water that evaporated off the ocean, and that he had perfectly mapped out the tree of life. What he said was so ridiculous that I couldn't help laughing. His name was Pan, please pray for him. He is very deceived.
