We have a great deal of new people on these boards. I'm curious as to where everone is from and how you heard of the boards.
I'll start.
I'm from Connecticut.
Where is everyone else from and how did you wonder unto these boards? Did you hear any of us preaching on your campus?

I am from Pinon Hills in San Bernardino county (California) but I go to school in Santa Barbara California at Westmont College.
I first heard of OAO from my brother. I think my brother heard Jesse's sermons on sermonindex.com. Now my brother goes to school with Greg. Jesse, just curious, did Greg show you a compilation in Canada called "A Cry From Hell"? It just happens to be that he wanted to listen to it because one of your sermons was in it. I guess he was really touched by it. One day my brother was in the car with him and he said he had to play this compilation for him. The funny thing is that my brother actually made the compilation and Greg had no idea. It is a small world!

That is amazing about the compilation. That is a good comp. Jesse is in a lot of the tracks.
I am from Syracuse, NY. I was soundly saved from being a false convert back in Nov. 2003. Ray Comfort's ministry got me into evangelism right away. I joined WOTM School of Biblical Evangelism and saw Jesse's (Lazarus1719) posts on there. I couldn't believe that there was someone else my age who street preached. Of course his website was pretty sweet too. I met him shortly after at a snow camp after I joined GNN. We have been friends since then. I have always been and still am encouraged by Jesse's faith and boldness. We decided to team up back in the fall of 05 while preaching together on campuses with GNN. And yeah, I concur with you Robert.. OAO rocks!

I'm from Fayetteville, Arkansas. I came to the boards through seeing Jesse on the SermonIndex.net boards.
I had the opportunity to meet "the OAO guys" a while back and preach with them on the street.

I was born in Kentucky, but have lived in Miami, Florida since 1972 (second grade).
I heard of Jesse last March (2005). I had been preaching on the streets and local campuses in this area on a weekly basis and was searching the internet to learn more about open air preaching. I was already familiar with Ray Comfort and had watched his old 18 video series on "Excellence in Evangelism". I had also read "Hell's Best Kept Secret" and "Revival's Golden Key" (now called "Way of the Master").
I somehow stumbled across Jed Smock's book "Who Will Rise Up?" I began reading the book on the internet everyday after work. It greatly stirred me. I had a week off from work coming up so I contacted Brother Jed by e-mail to see if I could go observe him preaching. I got an immediate response saying that he was flying into Tampa to preach at the University of South Florida the same week I was going to be off from work. Tampa is only several hours from Miami and my wife graduated from college there.
While with Jed in Tampa they gave me their latest newsletter (Jed's newsletter) and I saw a quote from Jesse in it. Jed had told me to post a report of my experience preaching with him on his bulletin board when I got back. I posted my report and began following his bulletin board. The same day I posted my report I read a post from Jesse being locked up in the Smith County Jail. I saw other articles by Jesse on the board and noticed he quoted many of my favorite authors. It was at that point I contacted Jesse by e-mail.
I think he started this message board around July. I have been here since the beginning. It has been great to be here and read the reports, see others seeking the Lord with all their heart, God raising up so many open air preachers, and the diligence many of you exercise in studying God's Word.
Even if I do not agree with some of you on some points of doctrine and practice I greatly appreciate all of you. Keep up the good work!
