Does anyone know where Armen is? I really miss him. He is a very Godly brother. Did he go to his pastorate already?

He posted this on the vision of revival thread back on the 14th of April. According to this, he should be back on Friday... Get it when I get back bro, I leave tonight for LA and i'll not be back for two weeks.

I haven't been posting in the doctrine and theology section lately because I've been trying to interact with the newbies in the world-view section...but I've missed him too - not too many "Calvinists" on the board so his insight in especially helpful because he is so balanced and I need that.
I think he posted something not too long ago though...could be wrong. Where has Jeff been as well?

Josh,
LOL! Great one! I wish I would have thought of that one! Yes old Armen headed out to LA for the Azusa Street Conference. I guess our debates with him on tongues helped him to see the truth.

;D I bet there isn't 3 points of doctrine he would agree with any of the "Azusa Street crowd" on.

He probably went out there to preach against it.

He probably went out there to preach against it. Anyone preaching against the PRESENT "Azusa" "revival" is a GOD SEND. Hinn, Fred Price, Copeland and many others are "leaders" I think the gathering is apostasy in the making... Anyhow, haha..... not all Calvinists are Gift haters .....some of us Calies love presents from Heaven

I think Ruben went to preach against it.
I am also a Pentecostal and I think it is a shame that the present Azusa commemoration is represented by mostly the TBN crowd.
What do you think of past leaders and pioneers like Maria Woodworth Etter, Smith Wigglesworth, John G. Lake, Guy Bevington, etc.

They were of a rare sort...preaching Holiness, the Cross and the Power of God!
Wigglesworth, Etter, Mcpherson, Lake... all greats!
Even Dowie, before he thought he was better than Kraft Dinner...
God certainly used these guys, and some may have had some things off, like I do and like everyone here does, and everywhere else for that matter...but wow! They knew their God and did exploits for Him!

Wigglesworth...he wrote much on prayer, right? And demonology? Is it OK to start a thread on demonology by the way? Or is that too controversial even for believers?

He gets credit for writing mostly about faith. Actually preaching about faith because he never wrote anything himself. He is known as the "Apostle of Faith".
He had a great healing and deliverance ministry (casting out devils) but did not preach much about demonology.

lol....I can't believe I was 'missed', that's weird (in a nice way of course). Kinda shows the 'family' atmosphere of this message board which is cool. To answer a few comments (which I found rather funny), I was not out on a preaching tour, nor was I out on protest. I have quite a number of relatives that live in L.A. from my dads side of the family and I was out visiting them. Had I known that Benny Hinn was in the area I might have made the effort to go and protest!!
