Babies are often saved from death when Christians speak out on their behalf at their local abortion mill. A baby was saved today in Richmond as a couple drove into RMCW. They were shown the front cover of our flyer with a picture of a preborn girl and the caption, "She's a Child, not a Choice." They looked at it for a while and then parked the car. After talking for some time to one another they left the premises without entering the clinic. You can find lots of helpful informatiom on sidewalk counseling at www.lifeandlibertyministries.com/archives/cat_sidewalk_counseling.phpWhen Christians show up, babies are saved.

babies are also saved through local crisis pregnancy centers as well - women who come in and find out they are pregnant and literally freak out before your eyes. It is an amazing opportunity to preach the gospel AND impact TWO lives. It is a difficult job, with far too few laborers.
I have just recently finished training to counsel women who have had abortions and need healing - in many cases, they first need salvation. The statistic for "Christian" women sitting in churches is almost 1/3 of all women by the age of 45 have had an abortion. The statistic in the world is 43% I think, so even higher.
There are many post-abortive women who have become Christians and were not healed, even though they are forgiven and have repented. I am convinced that sins against the body require healing, not just forgiveness, to break the stronghold in the lives they affect.
Keep up the good work....are you also presenting the gospel when you guys go out to do this?

They were probably so traumatized by your presence and were afaid you were going to start beating them with Bibles when they got out of their car that they decided to come back later.

Keep up the good work....are you also presenting the gospel when you guys go out to do this? Always. The CPC here in Richmond does a great job and we network together. Here is an exerpt from our local CPC newsletter. "The following is an excerpt from the Richmond CPC newsletter: Donna, prayer request 12/16, returned to CPC and reported "I am going to carry to term." Her counselor asked her what changed her mind. The client said "I went to the [abortion] clinic and someone gave me information that convinced me I really didn't want an abortion." That someone was a Christian sidewalk counselor. They are unrelated to CPC, but faithful God-fearing Christians that greet women and men entering the abortion clinic. We thank God for them and celebrate Donna's decision for life!"
