Many of you from GNN have accused Independent Fundamental Baptist KJB only believer's as being legalistic hypocrites who worship the Word of God.
Let me tell you something.
Well before Ray Comfort and Mr Rundus came on the scene IFB KJB only believer's have been on the streets and going from house to house preaching the gospel, without any fanfare or promotion. Each Independent local church fulfilling the great commission.
There has been no compromise on what and where the word of God can be found and they have always stuck to their guns with respect to separation, standards and sound biblical doctrine.
Some of these guys have been on the streets preaching when Mr Rundus and most of you were still in diapers and sucking at the paps.
Where was Mr Rundus and GNN when Billy Eubanks chartered a plane and dropped thousands of Chick tracts over the Vatican.
They never existed.
Where was Mr Rundus and GNN when Gerald Sutek, Jimmy Hood, Jim Camilleri, Ken Lansing, James Knox and many, many other IFB were out in the streets with banners and megaphones preaching the gospel.
They never existed.
The only Bible College in the United States that teaches and encourages Street Preaching is an INDEPENDENT FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST KJB ONLY college.
So go ahead all of you GNN folks keep attacking God's word and his labourers.
I know that we have built our house on the solid rock of Jesus Christ and His Word.
I would pray that you would do likewise.

Many of you from GNN have accused Independent Fundamental Baptist KJB only believer's as being legalistic hypocrites who worship the Word of God. I don't think that is GNN's offical position. Most here from GNN don't make any point at all of pushing the organization (or for the most part even mention it) I think the GNN position would be that they could care less if you are IFB, or KJO. Sounds like you are the one with the axe to grind Doc. I'm not even sure what this post is supposed to say......"IFB is better than GNN?" What is your point?

DocH, Ephesians 4:1 Therefore I, the prisoner of the Lord, implore you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have been called,
2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love, 3 being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.
Instead of posting controversial questions lets try simple Bible reading and questions.
Question #1: How does Paul refer to himself? Question #2: How does Paul feel about our need to walk worthy of our calling? Question #3 How much humility and gentleness are we to have toward one another? Question #4 What are we to be diligent in?

Thanks for calling me a "lurker" DocH. That was very kind and encouraging of you...love ya Doc... OK, RevK is not a lurker and I take that back. But I do get the impression that GNN has some of it's members lurking and then reporting back to Mr Rundus. Jonathan (before he got kicked off GNN) was sent a very dictatorial email from GNN. Mr Rundus had the ordacity to call himself "his Shepherd". No! There are only two shepherds. The chief shepherd and the local pastor of our church.

Is that true?
I was under the impression that you are NOT allowed to discuss the Bible version issue if you belong to GNN.
I have been accused (I can't remember by whom) of being a hypocrite and a legalist because I believe I have a PERFECT Bible.
Most of the attacks appear to be from GNN members-I am simply defending myself and God's word.
You ask "Are IFB better than GNN"
I believe that on the whole IFB's are doing things more Scripturally than GNN, although I do concede that there are some out there that I would have to separate from.

I am also curious: Is it the Pensacola Bible College led by Peter Ruckman? Yes, I am pretty sure about that tbxi. And yes I am talking about Pensacola Bible Institute. Now I suppose some will accuse me of being a "Ruckmanite" as well as a legalistic hypocrite and KJB worshipper. Well, for your info I am not a "Ruckmanite" and I don't agree with everything that he teaches. However, I would rather stand with Dr Peter Ruckman and preach the gospel on the street than with anyone from GNN. And by the way Bro. Ruckman is 85 years of age and he still stands on the streets of Pensacola with his students preaching Christ crucified from the KJB.

Well I thank God for GNN. I also thank God for anyone that will stand up for Jesus Christ in the open air. But I would be even more thankful if it was done in a Biblical way.

That's really great, but it's fallacious to associate Ruckman's faithfulness with his use of the KJB. Correlation != causation.
Thanks for the reply. I am glad you don't agree with Ruckman on everything. He has some whacked out theological ideas (I'm not talking about KJV onlyism here).

tbxi,
I wasn't making that association.
With regards to Dr Ruckman I wouldn't accept every negative thing that is said about him as being true.
I would check everything out VERY THOROUGHLY before you make a definitive judgment.
Don't always accept what a fellow Christian says.
I was TOTALLY against Dr Ruckman after reading James White's book on the KJB debate.
However, after doing further study and talking personally to those who have fellowshipped with Dr Ruckman I have a different view of this brother.
Furthermore, he has also written extensively on many other subjects besides the KJB which I am currently wading through very carefully.

DocH, the only place GNN restricts what there members will talk about in on the online message board. And the thing is that people sign an agreement to not talk about those things before they join. This is because the GNN message board is there for edification, encouragement and equipping in the area of Evangelism ONLY. It is not there for theological debate. For theological debate, people can go to other message boards like this one. The problem is that there are too many Christians who lie and break their agreement not to talk about certain things on the GNN message board and then expect GNN not to confront them on it. They go about calling GNN unfair and saying that GNN doesn't care about doctrine and will just let anyone join GNN. All of this is simply not true. How would you like it DocH, if I went about saying lies about you that weren't true because I didn't know the facts. It seems that is what you have done here. I think you ought to apologize to GNN. It is only the right thing to do. I understand that you have disagreements with them, but you literally told false things about them!

Well, Revk summed up what I was thinking on this. It seems that (and you guys aren't the only ones that this issue has come up with DocH) some people get very upset when they aren't allowed to discuss theological/doctrinal issues on the GNN board, even after signing a agreement saying that you wouldn't. I am sure that you are a man of your word Doc, why would this be any different?
I would have to say that I agree with you concerning who and what is our Shepherd. I've addressed concerns about that also with GNN.

I preach with some at GNN, but spend almost no time on GNN's board anymore. I have limited time and feel more comfortable on this board where one's opinions are able to be expressed. Since I know the GNN board does not allow that, and because I have even had a thread or two locked, I seldom go there anymore.
I find it hard to sharpen, if iron come against iron. I grow much more when I have to dig deep because I am challenged, then when everyone just pretends we don't disagree for the sake that it looks nice.
I am thankful for GNN for being able to draw many together that already have a common goal, reaching the lost. I have met many great brothers and sisters on GNN as well as OAO.
Doc H, I started with a NKJ when I first got saved in March 2001, then switched to the Comfortable KJ, but after studying many books on versions and the difference between the Byzantine Text and Alexandrian, find I use only my King James now (and for the last year or more). Now, I don't know what I would do without my KJ Key Word Study Bible.
I like what Evan said "I am not a KJ only, but only use the KJ".

RevK, So it's OK with GNN for a GNN KJBO believer to bring the Bible issue up in the streets and advise a new believer not to attend a church that uses CCM, has women 'pastors', doesn't believe in the pre-trib rapture and avoid babbling in unknown tongues AND PREACH SHOCK AND AWE. 'SHOCK AND AWE'-isn't that why Jesse was ostracised by GNN? C'mon RevK, who isn't telling the whole truth and nothing but the whole truth?

Apologise to GNN.
You must be kidding.
They are an unscriptural organisation NO WHERE TO BE FOUND in the KJB.
They are the one's who should be aplogising for usurping the authority and work of the LOCAL NT CHURCH.
It is the duty of the Pastor and associated evangelists in the LOCAL CHURCH to teach the people doctrine and evangelism and not GNN!
If the pastor is not doing that then he will give an account to God and not to GNN.
The SWAT team is a ministry of Pleasant View Baptist Church and we come under submission and authority of our Pastor.
Who does GNN or you RevK or tonyholland submit to?
Surely not Mr Rundus?
