Hey guys,
I just wanted to share the good news that my wife is pregnant with our first child!! We are very excited about this, we look forward to raising godly children in the fear of the Lord.
I prayed yesterday, "Lord, please don't form a sinner in my wife's womb. Please create a being with a free will instead of a sinful nature." I am confident that the Lord will answer my prayer and will not create a sinner! (this is meant to be funny)
I thank the Lord for the gift of life! I praise God that He creates life in the womb! We are fearfully and wonderfully made directly by God!

Wow! I'm so happy for you both! Being a dad is the best thing ever! You get to really experience a whole new facet of what Father God is like.
Yesterday, I wanted to ask you if there were any little Morrells in your future, and now I've got the answer.
Keep us posted about it. When is the baby due?

Thank you guys. We have some sad news. We just returned from the Hospital after having a miscarriage (11 weeks). We are told that this is not uncommon for first pregnancies. But it is still very sad.

I'm sorry to hear this. This happened to my sister as well with her first. Within a few months she was pregnant again and now Ethan just celebrated his first birthday and number two is on the way in June. Be encouraged! We'll be praying.

(This is LauRen - Jeff's wife) Jeff and I are so sorry to hear about this, but we are confident in the Lord and his tender mercies to comfort you and give you a joy and peace in this time. Miles is right - this is not uncommon for first time pregnancies, and a lot of women are able to have perfectly healthy children after miscarrying. Jeff's mom miscarried before she had Jeff. I am so blessed she tried again -LauRen

Jesse,
prayers go out to you and your wife! We experienced a stillborn death almost 10 years ago. Our son was 38 weeks old in the womb when his heart stopped beating. Age before birth makes no difference in the pain. Death is still painful. I pray that God would strengthen you during this time. I know the pain.
Grace and peace, Doug Renz
