Our job as christians is not to convert, that is God's job. Our job is to be faithful delivering His word.

Any challenges to the Christian world-view goes in the world-view debating section.
Heathenism vs. Christianity goes into the world-view debating section because they are two conflicting world-views.
I'd like to dialog with you however I am not sure if you are an atheist or a believer in thor?

No I'm not interested in Jesse's bullnuts. Jesse consider me agnostic towards the old Norse Pantheon. But seriously I think this should be in the preach'n thread because that's what I'm looking for is preachers who are on top of their game, and can give mea good reason to convert.

there are no reasons to convert. religion is filled of pipe dreams to be used, and abused, as an escapism.

hey heathen. im gonna But seriously I think this should be in the preach'n thread because that's what I'm looking for is preachers who are on top of their game, and can give mea good reason to convert. a good reason to convert would be that unless you repent you will perish (in an eternal lake of fire that is) Jesus said that, and so we say it too question is, why are you here, really? all joking aside, what are you truly looking for?

I'm here to test what I believe. If I can't hold my positions against a bunch Xians then they aren't very strong positions. I've got 40 posts here already and not any good debate on any of them. Jesse is the only person that even tries but I'm not sure how hard he's actually trying/if he's taking it seriously.

jobafunky - you've broken GOd's law (the ten commandments, just for starters) and as a result will be found guilty on judgment day. The punishment for breaking God's laws is death (in this case, in an eternal lake of fire)
How much more simple (and compelling) can it be?
Do you believe you have broken God's laws? Why or why not?

i try to only break the first five, because i wouldnt want to do anything to harm my fellow human beings, but since god probably does not exist...why not make graven images to piss people like you off?

graven images don't anger me for my sake, they anger me because it is idolatry.
You have the spirit of witchcraft, dmclayton. Repent, or face the wrath of Almighty God.

i do not practice witchcraft, my friend. in fact, if you were to say something like that to another nonbeliever who was not as tolerant as me you may have found yourself at the gates of heaven. i will face the wrath, gladly. besides....hell is a figment of your imagination created by jews. the word, in hebrew, is sheol which was like a dumping grounds where diseased bodies were burned outside the city. the literal hell of the bible is separation from god. black, empty darkness....with what i imagine to be something like that of a teaser trailer. in other words, you can see heaven, in fact you can almost taste it...but you can never reach it no matter how hard you try. tough stuff. honestly, i would rather party with kurt cobain, and play strip poker with hitler and the pope than bow down to the invisible daddy in the sky that enjoys ripping open the bellies of pregnant women.

oh my, did this passage somehow slip by your vast knowledge "backwards and forwards" of the BIble? Let me refresh your memory then...
1 Samuel 15:23 "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as idolatry and teraphim."
You have a rebellious heart towards God, no doubt. Which is why you have a spirit of witchcraft. And while we are at it, idolatry as well.

...speaking of idolatry, perhaps you should talk to jesse about self-worship. i do not practice witchcraft, for the last time, so keep your opinions to yourself. witches practice witchcraft, and i do not know the first thing about black clothing, mascara, rats, pointy hats, spells, flying, harry potter, or role-playing games. sorry. the definition of witch has changed since the biblical tried miserably to define it as everyone who is not a christian. i assume you call everyone a pagan and a devil worshipper too?
p.s. to any of you who do practice witchcraft, the silly generalizations was only a joke.
