Hey guys,
I've been going out every other Friday now to hand out tracts and share the gospel here in downtown Portland. But whenever Friday comes around, I feel discouraged. I get thoughts like "No one will listen...", "You're wasting your time..." - My energy gets down, and I begin not even looking forward to the task at hand...
Any advice on overcoming the anxiety and focusing up?
Thanks.

Listen to the story of "Mr. Genor" I think you can find it at fireonthealtar.com or even if you google it. He was an old man in Austrailia who handed out tracts...his story is remarkable and inspiring.

Everyone will aproach different. All you do is be led by the HOLY SPIRIT. HE will guide you exactly how you ought to witness to someone and give you boldness. You must become sensitive to HIS leading. That only happens when you die to self and follow CHRIST.
Matthew 16:24, "Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."
The word deny means disown oneself. Then shall you be sensitive to HIS LEADING, and only then.
